Bosa's been at the top of this thing all along until we decided to hire a fired college coach who made a wild proclamation months ago.

Bosa's the elite player, and this board continues to ignore it.

Even still, teams didn't trade out to move away from Luck or Manning. In the past 20 years, the #1 has been traded three times only. And no team moving out really came away with much, besides the faint memory of the Chargers for Vick.
Yep if it was me I would already served notice that barring injury between now and the draft that Bosa is the pick but for all we know that has already been done behind the scenes in the front office

im beginning to believe ( which has changed 2 dozen times) that we will trade out providing of course there is an offer. I believe any offer would bring 2 additional picks. I think the Raiders are going to be the team because they would still have 2 first round picks. Imagine 4,27,35 in addition to our 33,65 and 97. IF, Murray was still there at 4 we could take him( or not)then trade Rosen ( or not) for a first round or a 2nd and 3rd possibly giving us five or six top 100 picks. To me it’s the most prudent thing to do in order to build this team the right way. With those picks we would have the flexibility to even trade back up. Whether you support the idea of Murray ( which we could still get trading out) or Rosen it’s hard to argue the influx of talent we could obtain. I just think the 1st pick is worth more than any 1 player.

I am really hoping we trade. that is how the patriots got built into a year-over-year winner, by having so many draft picks it keeps the salary cap manageable. Nobody has a perfect draft, but if you have 4-5 more picks than most teams you have a better chance of hitting on a good player. have you ever noticed how the patriots seems to have so many draft picks every year?

Is there that big of a difference between Bosa and the rest of the defensive players? This year there isn’t any offensive lineman, wr’s or rb’s that merit a #1 pick. So it’s qb’s and none merit it either in my opinion. So it comes down to if anyone wants to trade up for Bosa if indeed he is far and above the best player.

And when we have the best qb to ever play the game on our team, I'll stop worrying about finding out next qbotf.

The Pats went 11-5 with Matt Cassel... I know this will be debated for generations (the chicken or the egg) But all the Belichick led Patriots do is fricking win... Doesn't matter who gets hurt, who leaves for greener pastures...... They just keep winning.

I'm really hoping for Belichick to coach 2-4 more years after Brady retires, to have a better metric on it.

Matt Cassel never won a super bowl..do you think Brady's talented teams automatically discredit him as the goat? Maybe it's chicken and the egg. Lol

The Pats went 18-1 the year before Cassell took over. They really took a step back. ;)

I don't think this year most pundits think Bosa is head and shoulders above everybody else.. there is too much focus on the other guys.. I think at 4 we would have the option to go with defensive talent the some would possibly even take over Bosa.. I don't think it would be a huge drop down.. you might still want to take Murray as well.. I don't think the Raiders will trade for the pick though..

Unless we fix the QB position, it really won't matter how many picks we get. Whatever you do, you better absolutely, positively, come away with Murray. Everything after that is icing on the cake.

We need a few offensive line players, we need a receiver, we need a cornerback and we need teamwork. Not one star/celebrity. We need a lot of positions filled with better players.
I would trade my top pick.
I wouldn’t spend my top pick on Bosa or any dline player unless he was a sure thing/cornerback or safety.

The Raiders are in a great spot because they don’t have to do anything. If they want Murray/Haskins at least one should be available or they could grab one of Oliver/Williams/Allen. Their swish cheese D needs a lot of help.
No they arent, murray and haskins are going 1 and 2. Raiders have to move up.
