Their design was less about patriotism than a gut punch to California and Oakland.

As for the hats themselves, I see the Giants, and probably the Jets(who are going back to their 80's style kelly green with the word Jets on the helmet) are using the NY city flag when neither one play anywhere near the city itself or the state for that matter. Perhaps the taxpayer of NYC should fund their stadium and not the taxpayers of NJ.

The Bengals roadkill hat cracked me up!

Not sure why they changed the colors for the rays on the AZ hat when yellow is an official team color or why they altered the bottom rays to look more like “the rising sun.”
