I like the way he threw out "mentally" along with physically ready before he plays
Sounds like a subtle challenge to KM
Just because you are physically ready doesn't automatically make you the starter
You need to put in the mental work also and be prepared

You have to be mentally ready to play after major knee surgery. The best way to get re-injured is to come back gun shy. I don't think this is a slight to KM at all.

He has to have mental confidence that his knee is fine and he can take hits. That's what killed Tim Rosenbach, back in the day. Came back after his knee injury and was scared to stay in the pocket or take hits...and it was all over for him.

Made it sound like he just went to Dallas to check with doctor, but may still be rehabbing at the team facility. At least that's how it sounded to me.

I don't think any of the issues were difficult to deal with...most was just like deferred maintenance on a house and easy to fix.
