It will at least a couple times. These guys are extremely hard to take down, especially when you are trying to tackle them solo. Some guys just know how to get out of sacks and I can't fault our guys too much for Kaep just making a good play with his feet.

I totally agree with Veldheer. This might have been his worst game with the Cardinals.

Agree with Bucannon on a certain point. I think this game is where he has looked the most like an instinctive ILB that I have seen, but he failed to finish on several plays which was frustrating to watch.

I haven't rewatched it yet, but I didn't notice Cooper rolling around this game which was a surprise when I saw him on the GOAT list. I will have to rewatch it.

Hard to give out too many GOATS on a game like this, but Michael Floyd is one for me. I know you gave him an honerable GOAT, but I am more tolerant of Cooper, Veldheer, and Bucannon struggling when they play a ton of reps, than Floyd commiting penalties when he is playing just a few. He is almost a complete non-factor in games.

Floyd was close. I think that it was frustrating for him to get that first big catch erased, and he might have been benched after he cut off his post route on that play when Palmer kind of showed him up. But I'm a Michael Floyd apologist.

On another note...Palmer is playing lights out this year. He had the awful INT, but was throwing dimes on almost everything else. This might be the best QB play I have seen in Cardinal red outside of Warner's playoff run when we went to the Super Bowl.

He's playing at a high level. It's hard to tell how much of that is him versus being surrounded by good talent and a very efficient system. Palmer's making it look easy and hasn't had a bunch of difficult situations that he's had to overcome yet. As others have said, the Cards haven't been trailing for one second of the season so far.

Last week, he only had like 4 third-down passing situations the entire game.

This isn't a phenomenon you'll see at Lambeau Field, Gilette Stadium, or Mile High Field.

while i also wish it were different -- comparing the GB or Denver history, or the Pats current 10+ year run and recent SB win --- thats a pretty tough standard to meet

the Valley is full of transplants. Many from California. Ditto for an easy trip down from places like Vegas, etc.

Just ran through the offensive plays keying on Cooper for the full 4 quarters.

Coop actually had a pretty good first quarter. Only breakdown was that Cooper's man was the one who knifed in for a TFL on the play where Chris Johnson was facemasked. The TD run from Johnson was from right behind Cooper.

As the game wore, Cooper's game slackened. His worst series was the last one.
