So much for me thinking Cards/Rams would be the main event game. They are marketing the Seahawks/49ers more.
Different era. Drew Brees passed for 30 TDs his last season at Purdue and that was considered a lot back then, but now, 45 TDs would be about the same.If anything we are criminally under selling how good Stafford has been in the first games. I am not sure you have all the facts.

The Rams talent as a roster is not as good as it was last year. The difference is that they have a QB who can throw if they get behind and adding Desean Jackson gives them another way to attack another part of the field. Defensively, they just put a shell around Ramsey and Donald and let those two wreck plays. They are also uber-aggressive which the Cardinals struggle with.Don't forget that McVay is also Bruce Arians' daddy. He owns this whole franchise; it's not just a Kliff problem.
Apparently the zones in the Rams defense have been looser this season than they were last year, which means there are more mental errors going on than in the past. Their defense is absolutely focused on limiting explosive plays, which is why Kyler struggles until he's able to start attacking the intermediate zones with authority.
Solid facts and does suck it is soWhat does? Getting whomped by the McVay Rams? Yup. Rams only play jets once in a blue moon and it wasn’t a division game. Until proven otherwise we are mcVay’s witch with a “b.”

Question, has our style of offense shown that against an elite defense we can go four quarters without screwing up every other drive without a punt resulting in bad field position or a turnover? The answer is no, so I respectfully disagree with you fully, even though I still have no concrete idea what this offense is because it seems to tip to two polar extremes of a spread or a two back/TE oriented formation which is so hilarious when they switch because it's so counter to their usual formation (which by the way is a spread offense as you know but not the college Air Raid), so for lack of a better term we are a 'spread' 'college/pro' offense)I couldn’t disagree with you more.
Do what you do best and running the ball is not what we do best. We NEED TO ATTACK. If we play careful we will get blown out. Throw the ball and get a lead THEN run the ball.
If they get us in 3rd and long we put Kyler in a bit of danger. Make THEM stop Hopkins, Green, Kirk, Moore and Edmonds. Getting stuffed on 1st down is not a good idea.
Give me 5-6 yards on 1st down. Second and long is not where you want to be against this defense.
I mean we have actually managed to beat Seattle at least once at their best. I don’t remember SEA or SF being McVay-over-us-dominant since I became a fan in 06.I look at the Rams much like how we once looked at the Seahawks. Until the Cardinals can figure them out, the Cardinals are owned by the Rams.
I dunno… Our secondary has been pretty good against WR corps arguably better or on par with the Rams. AJ Brown, Julio Jones. Justin Jefferson, Adam Theilen and KJ Osborn. Marvin Jones, DJ Chark, and Laviska Shenault. We will get a good idea of how good our secondary is in this matchup. I think we have the firepower to outscore them.

We’ve faced some very very talented groups of WRs and I’m very happy with the results so far Minus one blown coverage against Minnesota.
The difference is Stanford obviously. But whether people wanna dismiss him or not Cousins has been on fire and playing some really good football this year.
Yeah, you would have to go to our NFC East time to find teams/coaches that did that to us consistently.I mean we have actually managed to beat Seattle at least once at their best. I don’t remember SEA or SF being McVay-over-us-dominant since I became a fan in 06.
Between 2013/17... we were 5-2 against the RAMS and then the debacle started.Yeah, you would have to go to our NFC East time to find teams/coaches that did that to us consistently.
Oh if you're talking number of games, yeah the Rams have beaten the Cardinals more than the Seahawks did.I mean we have actually managed to beat Seattle at least once at their best. I don’t remember SEA or SF being McVay-over-us-dominant since I became a fan in 06.
Or Woods or D-Jax.I hope we beat the Rams but KK always ***** his pants when he goes up against McVay & until we can win one against them...........? Every game is different with many outcomes but the Rams just beat the **** out of the Buccaneers today & I don't think we win this game. Hope I'm wrong but I just don't think our secondary has an answer for Kupp?
Well 3 points for home field. So neutral field. 3 point line snd if we were home. Even. That’s not bad!!!Here is the SADDEST part:
This is likely the best Cardinals team in 5 years and the Cardinals don't even have a chance against Rams. Vegas thinks the same that is why they Cards are 6 point underdogs. Pity
Huh we are ranked top 6 in almost every ranking. And this week probably top 5Rams are the #1 ranked team in the NFL, we are nowhere close. Maybe top 10-15
We are never going to be able to play smash mouth, run the ball down your throat with the Rams.Question, has our style of offense shown that against an elite defense we can go four quarters without screwing up every other drive without a punt resulting in bad field position or a turnover? I say keep it close with a ball control offense, yeah we have to be able to do that or we are totally screwed for four quarters because while it takes VJ to adjust, you can spot them two scores and spot them maybe two score with our offense derailing... then yeah, hit them in the fourth quarter with our 'spread' offense for the win and hope we do not screw up
Look, towards the end of the season I would say yeah, be what we try to be every game because one would think this current roster would have it figured out by then... but now, against the Rams, I don't know but if they do I hope you are right S16
This is an incredible take, one that is often overlooked. McVay deserves all of the credit he has received. However, the Rams had been stock piling talent for like a decade straight under Jeff Fisher. It was a good opportunity for McVay at the time.Over the past three seasons, McVay hasn't had to deal with a massive cleanup/turnover in his roster; he's been tweaking and hopefully improving his lineup. We are simply at different stages of growth.

We're going to win this one on a 67 yd FG by Prater, and the next day we'll have reams of copy about KK making the wrong call.
It wouldn't be the wrong call to kick a 67 yard FG to win the game if you need a 67 yard FG to win the game.
It would be, and always will be, the wrong call to try kick a 67 yard FG while level and going into half time.
In what passage of the football Bible would I find this quote from the great coach in the sky?
