This morning a Celtic fan told me he wasn't very impressed with our victory. He still thinks the West is soft. And that Memphis' defense wasn't anything like Detroit or Indiana.

personally, I think Indy's defense is wayyyyy over-rated - but did you really argue that Memphis was anything close to the Pistons defensively.

As far as West v East - that's a joke. The Wst (although not as much as it was) is still a much superior conference to the East. The East has two teams - the West has 6 tough teams.

I did not argue at all about comparing defenses. I did argue that Memphis' defense was rough last night though. And it was.

ah - gotcha. Agree. That was physical playoff basketball - something we're likely gonna have to overcome if we're gonna win this sucker.

LOVE being up 2-0 - hasn't happened in a loooooong time.

Good game last night by the Suns. I was there of course, and yes it was Tara Reid sitting courtside. She was smokin' and seemed to be lovin the Suns. The Grizzlies played well throughout most of the game, but we still managed to find ways to win like we have throughout this year. Q is a gamer, and without him being on this team I don't think we would have the record nor the chance to make it out of the first round. Amare looked good, Nash didn't have a great game, but good enough to get the win. This was a slow grind it out game that many people think we couldnt win. Well I thinnk we are certainly proving people wrong. I still don't understand why Charles is such naysayer when it comes to the Suns, I mean what more does he want from us? He really does get a woody from watching the Spurs doesn't he?

He won't be happy or satisfied (or give props) until we win a title.

Of course, then he'll be incredibly resentful.

Barkley is a fine one to talk about defense - if he'd have taken a little pride in defending the Suns would have won a couple of titles. If I recall he made the list of the "Fifty Worst Defenders of All Time"...

Charles "They don't pay me enough to play defense" Barkley. Yes, he said that.
