OH MY GOD.

Is this really what the board is going to be? Half of it with completely ridiculous Kyler Derangement Syndrome looking for ANY reason to hate? The presser was meh... fine. Literally nothing to write home or on the board about.

And if you're going to leave, just leave already. Maybe you can go be a Vikings fan considering your ridiculous man-crush on a QB who basically is going to destroy that team because he's mediocre AF with the most ridiculous contract in the league.
I promise I'm not gonna spend the entire offseason griping about Murray. I'll get over in a few days, and I'll be excited to see him in training camp, preseason, and into the season.

I've already apologized for the overreaction last night, but like I said in that thread... I was a little drunk and took things a little too far. I was stupid for doing it. There's not a point in addressing it again, but you're one of my favorite posters, so I figured I'd give you one more reply.

I'm not changing my fan allegiance. I would have been wrong about Cousins, and I'm man enough to admit it - I just didn't realize how bad the talent on this team really was last year.

What I'll say though, I'm sorry, is that Kyler Murray wouldn't have passed my test for an entry level job interview for people I hire. Checking your cellphone in that moment is just unacceptable.

Solar is my guy but I remember he was super high on signing Kirk Cousins & we see how that went.

Watch Kyler prove you wrong.
Thanks man. I hope he will. But it's going to take a lot to do, more than a couple of neat plays.

I just addressed it in that thread if you care enough to go back and read more. Honestly, I was letting passion get the best of me, and I'm realizing it's pretty much impossible for me to avoid the board on draft weekend.

I apologize for overreacting like that though. This is me coming back with my tail between my legs.
Takes character to mea culpa after emotions get the better of you. Good job.

Why are you apologizing for your OP? You're right. That presser was cringy af. After watching that presser, I felt the way I felt after watching the Wilks presser.

With the top pick comes more time under the microscope.trying to be prepared for that is also part of the territory. He got the part so now he has to be ready for whatever that brings.Maybe he isn`t comfortable being spontaneous and prefers a more fixed setting.Who knows? But anything and everything he does will now be seen and dissected. With a little time maybe he feels more comfortable?

Giving a good press conference is about how you prepare. Murray didn’t prepare for the day before the draft. He reportedly didn’t prepare well for combine meetings. He didn’t prepare for his intro presser.

Being a great NFL QB is entirely about preparation and having control over every aspect of the experience around you.

His 98.7 interview isn’t any better. Asked about whether or not KK’s move to the Cards influenced his decision to commit to football and it took him 5 seconds to start to answer

I was apologizing for the thread I posted at 2:30 AM last night saying "I'm out," haha. Not for this thread. Still an awful presser.

Hang in there Solar.I was pissed off a bunch after the pick.Still hate it.But can`t change it.Now hope it works but I have huge doubts.I am more disgusted with Sk/KK right now.

seriously who cares about a 21 yeard old rookie qb press conference, he doesnt have to be smooth in front of the camera to be a great qb

i saw many well spoken players being trash on the field, so lets think about the draft and stop with this anti murray campain which is dreadful considering is our new qb

Says one of the founding members of the anti-Rosen campaign when he was our QB.

Murray has to prove it now, he has to prove he was worth it. Time will tell whether this move pays off or not but the fact is 99% of everyone that posts here is a Cardinal fan and wants team success. I never purchase a player jersey because I don't support individual players I support the team--but it's hard not to question moves and how they will work out (its what fans the world over do).

I care because I really can't come up with an example of a poorly spoken, questionable commitment QB that has succeeded purely on athletic talent alone. All of the greats have the ability to handle simple press conferences, especially the ones where it's GOOD news. Like someone else said, how is this kid going to react when he throws 3 INTs in a game, and we lose? How is he going to manage the locker room when we're losing a bunch of games, as opposed to the baby gloves he's had going to some of the best football programs at every level?
