thrice is about as new as i've gotten because i've been busy as well. also - because of my schedule it has hampered my beatles hunting and buying - but last fall i did take a trip to london and had my picture taken at Abbey Road - yes - i crossed the mythical zebra crossway!!!!

I must check Thrice out some time... I must admit that I havent been following too much of the newer bands lately..... Whose style would you compare them to? (if any)

That's awesome that you walked across "Abbey Road"... did you end-up taking a tour of Apple? (I dont know if they offer those anymore)

You must check-out this band named Alaska! that I posted on that ASFN music club email account.. they're amazing........

Also.. I've been listening to a lot of the White Stripes, Folk Implosion, and Blind Faith......

Just got the new U2 album for my anniversary, and the newest ColdPlay. Never listened to ColdPlay before, but am pleasantly surprised. U2 is always good with me. Lots of Christian music in this album it seems. I wish we had songs like this in church! :)

Which album? "American Woman" to me was their best... I mean... wow...
"No Sugar Tonight", "No Time" and of course the title track are amazing.....Then of course the follow-up "Share the Land" was sensational.... especially "Hand Me Down World"..... Bachman and Cummings are two brilliant musicians.... Just another phenomonal band from across the opposite border of the United States.....

Never was a fan of the Smashing Pumpkins, although I do like their song "Zero" a lot.

I've always have had a love/hate relationship w/Smashing Pumpkins.... I guess it wasnt completely their fault, by "Today" and "1979" just got too played-out.. it became rather annoying after awhile....

However, then "Cherub Rock", "Disarm", and their remakes of both "Landslide" and "Never Let Me Down Again" immediately bring a smile to my face...

Just listening to "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness" is an experience in itself....

I havent really checked recently about those rumors of their reunion (which was discussed a lot on here), however, Cogan as a member of Smashing Pumpkins, Zwan, or just solo is remarkable.....

I've also been listening to old school (circa 1993) TLC and a little bit of Gwen Stefani.

We should have a song thread on here... like whenever we see the thread and are listening to music, we have to post it
