What I would give for a real Time Machine to take me back to witness a game at these two venues!!!! I'm jealous!
I've mentioned before how my father (a NY Giants fan) and I (10 years old) attended Game 1 of the '51 Dodger-Giant playoffs.

I guess he wanted to influence me to become a Giants fan (right after they had overcome a 13 1/2-game deficit to force the Dodgers into a 3-game playoff).

We sat in the left field stands at the Polo Grounds, as Jim Hearn beat the Dodgers in Game 1.

And I became a Dodger fan the following season.

Then I wished he had taken me to Ebbetts Field for Game 2 to see Dodger closer Clem Labine pitch a 9-inning shutout as a starter.

In Game 3, Bobby Thomson's "Shot Heard 'Round The World" (close to the spot where we had been sitting in Game 1) gave the Giants the pennant.

Am I glad I wasn't at that game.

Although it was a long trek to Brooklyn from New Jersey, I saw many Dodger games at Ebbetts Field 'til they moved West in '58.

20 years later, we moved West, too, to the Valley of the Sun. The Dodgers, Johnny Carson, and my wife, kids, and I all headed West. Yeah! :)

Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City (where the Brooklyn Dodgers played 7 home games one year) -- and where, as a 5-year old, I sat in the stands the day Jackie Robinson made his professional debut, when the Montreal Royals visited the Jersey City Giants of the International League.

That's AWESOME. That's not just a ballgame, that's history. Very cool.

El Paso Diablos (RIP)Park

I went to quite a few games at the old Dudley Field in El Paso. Great times as a kid.

I've also got the 2 Tucson parks for minor league and/or spring training games.

Wow, I thought I was going to be the ol' man of the group. You have me beat.
Sorry :D ... I think I have almost everybody beat on this one ... haven't seen it mentioned :
FORBES FIELD, original home of the Pittsburgh Pirates ... where we could get into "knothole" games for 50 cents when I was a kid (through special promotional events with the YMCA etc) ... and yes, I was very very young at the time

And finally, major league parks I hope to visit in the not too distant future ...

Cool thread. Here is my list most favorite to least favorite:

Yankee Stadium (Yes, I am a Yankees fan)
Camden Yards
Wrigley Field
Royals Stadium (Kaufman ?)
Milwaukee County Stadium
Memorial Stadium (old Baltimore)
BOB
New Comiskey
Three Rivers

I played DIII baseball in college and growing up about 45 minutes from Cooperstown. For one summer (I think '92) I played for the Milford Macs who play a doubleheader in Doubleday Field (next to the Hall of Fame) every Saturday from late May until early August. Oh to be young again!

I saw the last game at Forbes Field and the 1st game at Three Rivers as an youngster. Got to meet and shake the hand of the great Roberto Clemente.

While in the Navy, was stationed there in Norfolk with the Tidewater Tides. Got to see the great 80's Mets players as youngsters, Gooden, Strawberry, Darling, Sid Fernandez (was a childhood friend of one of my Navy friends so we spent a lot of time with him), Kevin Mitchell (we used to laugh at how chubby he was), etc. One of the best farm teams ever. The wife has a glove autographed by Billy Beane. He was smart then and joked about becoming a GM and showing everyone how to run a team. Whoda thunk?
