No matter what anybody says I'll never be convinced Whiz honestly felt Lindley was our best option out there, no way no how. Something deeper is going on. Seriously, Whiz is making an example out of Skelton infront of the whole team, and that team is scared to talk about it. Now having to resort to using fear as a motivation technique again during the losing streak, his days are numbered. But back to Skelton...what did he say or do? Someone in here said something about an unhappy comment, and I do remember that last TD miss to Larry right before he got benched. But that was not Whiz playing to win today, that was Whiz showing who's boss, and he won't let losing a game stop him.
+1
Completely unprofessional. Completely unfair, and hypocritical.
What is worse ? Lindley missed the EXACT SAME PASS that got Skelton benched, and it was after the INT's and after Lindley had a complete and total emotional breakdown out on the field.
In addition to keeping Lindley out on the field, go back and watch what an embarrassment Rich Ohrnberger was at center.
Whiz is a joke. A complete joke. His system is a joke, and his coaching career is a joke. Warner, Dick LaBeau, and Ray Horton. Without those three Whiz would not be where he is today, which is not much, but he is barely a highschool coach at this point.
Horrible. Hopefully this season makes sure he and Grimm are not in the NFL after this season. They don't deserve to be. That is not NFL quality football, thus it does not belong in the league.
I never would think about firing a coach mid-season, but Whiz deserves it at this point. Totally justifiable.
If the organization is standing behind flushing the season down the toilet, giving up, putting a product on the field like what we all just seen, then Whiz can be fired.
If your going to screw over your players, fans, and everyone involved in the organization by stubbornly leaving players in games that have no business being in there, then just blow the whole thing up.
This is already a joke, the season is already over, there is no reason why Whiz cannot, and should not be fired. He is a joke, and the organization is a joke right now, so it won't hurt anything anyway.
Flippin' disgrace. Whiz sucks, and I hope to never see him on the sideline again. Frickin' clown.
