What do we know about Todd McBride?

Cards are bringing in former Packer CB Todd McBride, Monday.

All I could find out is that he's 6-1 205 and 2 years ago was a backup CB.

Can anyone else add anything?

He gets burned a lot, but would probably be an improvement over Renaldo Hill and Coby Rhinehart.

finally.. I have complaining that we have not brought in anyone at 3 big need positions (DT, CB and WR)...we did bring in thorton..but I do not think we made him an offer..that was it at these 3 positions..

I think you need to bump DE in over CB....we are decent at CB.

krang: DE is our weakest position in my opinion..but we brought in holliday and tried to sign him and we brought in chike.at least we are trying to address it..my point was that we have not done much at the other 3 positions...I agree De is very weak..

I read a lot. It was confirmed today - either by the EVT or AZR.

What meager stuff I got about McBride's bkrnd came from the preseason NFL mags.

I think Hill is okay in the Dime package and as a 5th CB. We obviously need an upgrade at this position and there really isn't a lot out there.

What I love about this FA period is that the Cards are addressing a ton of needs, what I'm concerned with is that the Biggest needs haven't been addressed, yet.

Less than a week ago most of us thought this team was in such dire straights that the season was lost. Tango posted that all was not lost and he was correct. The same can be said about the pass rush concern on this team. Today it looks bleak, a couple of days from now it may look much better.
