MY GOODNESS. He takes the absolute worst team in the history of professional football & you say needs a winning record to get an A. Some of you just don't realize just how bad a football team we had last year. We may have been 4-12, but that team was LUCKY to have won at all. I've been following this franchise since the early sixties, and the 2003 Cardinals were the worst Cardinal team I've ever seen. They were horrible on both sides of the ball & their special teams were bad also. When you add the coaching staff, IT WAS A MIRACLE that they didn't go 0-16. If Green ends up with a winning record, then he deserves an A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I agree 100%...I gave him a B+ but easily an A effort in several departments. The record this season is meaningless. If we get to 7-9 it will have been a major success and will have shown the strength of DG first draft with 5 of them having started games and made huge contributions. Injuries have probably prevented a playoff run in his first year because this team has always lacked depth at key positions. DG easily gets A+ in FA and Draft. Gets close to an A in staff( Clancy was a coup) He is no politician but he really doesn't have to be with this team. The ones giving him poor grades can only do so because of his handleing of the Kendall ,LJ and Offensive coaching staff. In these instances DG didn't take a vote he just made the tough decesions and I like that from the coach. Something had to be done and still does about that OLINE. I think I have now talked myself into a solid A for DG

If draft was so good why does the team not have a servicable QB? Two number ones last two years on WRs without addressing QB in draft or free agency (this year) speaks volumes about organization and Green(not responsible for first wr pick). Cards missed the boat on Big Ben.
IMHO , thats speculation, if you put Big Ben behind our OL, i doubt he would have the same success as he is having now. Given what we needed most at the beginning of the year i'd say they got the right choices in the draft.:)

Looks like he rates out to a B.

I gave him a C , because of the O woes. And that's his specialty.

Also for breakdowns in other phases - special teams, and some questionable personell decisions.

Who graded Green D or D-????

I would hate to see the grade they would give McGinnis.

Maybe it was McGinnis or Joe Greene who gave the D or D- grades!
I think it was This Guy for benching King.

Are you saying I was the d or d- or that it was Greene or McGinnis? I gave Green a B.

he is giving this team credibility and it will only get better as far as i can see!

we all moan at losses to Buf on the road and Jets (a GOOD afc team playing very well) but its not that bad as far as i can see. The games that disappoint or the likes of SF which would have us at 5-6 (but these games will start to go our way like it did against Fins)

we are a much better side with a decent D.

If we can find a QB and Shipp comes up with the goods next year then we could see massive improvements
