Because of loosing Levi, most likely every team in the next 5 to 6 weeks are going to throw everything," blitz city", at are quarterback. So I throw this out, what would happen if the Cardinals let Kolb play some rollout passing plays this week, is'nt he the best rollout QB we got? Levi being out for the year is going to change the way we play offense the coaching staff better open up there thinking on offense.
I like Skelton the best, but now see what Kolb can do at what he does best.
If Skelton is the starter and gets hurt, you better bring in a scrambler QB, because that means Grimm has his boys taking the day off....just throwin this out.

The problem is he rolls out and the results are still bad. Throws it out of bounds or at the receivers feet. Skelton is much better at keeping the play alive when protection breaks down.

call me crazy, but I really think he's limiting BOTH of them so that he can start Kolb, basically by saying EXACTLY what he said after the last game, that Skelton wasn't in there long enough to be evaluated... and if need be, Kolb hasn't been in there long enough to have the job taken away from him... even though there's no universe in which the job should be his from the get go.

CRAZY! Stop being a drama queen :)

Skelton's starting!

Here is where I think Wiz has messed up in the QB battle. He is way to scared for one of them to get injured. He will not allowed either one of them to play behind anything but the 1st team OL.

How can you find out who your QB starter will be when your 4th stringer has just as many attempts as the two guys fighting for a starting spot. That would be fine if there wasn't a competition going on.

Passing Attempts -
Kolb - 15
Skelton - 15
Lindley - 42
Bartell - 13

How the heck can you know who the starter will be when each one is only getting 5 attempts per game? Peyton Manning coming off of 3 neck surgeries has 30 attempts in only 2 games. There is something wrong when you are giving your 3rd string QB more then double the attempts of the two guys supposedly fighting for the starting job.

Eh, Maybe. But I honestly think Whiz knows he is starting Skelton already. He might be trying to give Kolb the chance to make it closer, but I didnt buy it when he said "they will both compete for the QB1 spot" at the end of last year.

The one caveat is that no one wants to look bad on a guy you openly wanted (Combo of FO and Whiz) so I am sure there is some glimmer inside him that had hoped Kolb could be the guy, but for not.

Skelton will win this job regardless of what happens Thursday.

Mitch, as much as I like him, and I like him better than Jefferson, I don't see Parker making the "53" and hope we can get him to the PS. Gideon has a better chance of sticking. And I'm pretty sure that Adams is GONE, and possibly in the first wave of cuts in order to give him a better chance to find another team. Just a guess on my part.

Also, Mitch a question. With the way Williams looked on Friday, if Beanie plays well against the Titans, do you see any chance of using Beanie as trade bait for a LT? And if so, what team/tackle would you target? No team will give up a decent starter for a RB, but I'm sure a quality backup might be had. Of course that's how we got KK. I guess it's possible that we become a running (60/40 or 70/30) team. Like the Jets used to say, Ground and Pound. And if one of our young linemen (Kelemete??) develops by midseason, we can then open up the passing game.

What about Beanie to the Packers for Derrick Sherrod the second year tackle

out of Mississippi State? The would still have Bulaga and that other dude (cant think of his name)
