What if Rosen really knew it all along?

Repeatedly I have heard that Rosen is a smart guy! What if the Cards approached Rosen early on and told him their plans to fake everyone out and convince them that 1st Murry was the pick, then Bosa was the pick. They planned it all along, keep everyone guessing to maximize the options for the number 1 pick.

Hey Josh, just tell everyone that someone hacked your account and took the Cards stuff off; and while your at it, don't show up for the OTAs! Would he play along? I bet he would, he seems like he would love this!

Now you got Oakland, NY and ? in a bidding war for the #1 pick Murry or Bosa. And if the Cards don't get what they want, keep the pick and go Bosa, like they planned all along. Brilliant!

That would be awesome. But unfortunately I feel like they are going to draft Murray and then Bosa will break him half twice a season for SF.

Murray or get a load of picks.. Bosa won't fix anything. Chubb and Miller are prime examples how that's worked for the broncos since Peyton retired. At this point..just load up on D.. stack it just like the Rams did.

This is a brilliant defensive draft and a lousy offensive one. Load up D this year, load O next year. Win championships. Just that simple.....
I would trade a little down, get as many firsts and seconds this year as possible. Set it up for years to come.

The second and third rounds should be pretty deep with WR talent.

That is exactly what I've wanted all along too give Rosen a 2nd year with some actual weapons and a half way decent o line if it dont improve then next year go offense all the way with new Quarterback and every thing else

interesting, but I doubt it for a couple reasons:

1. if Josh knows, his agent knows and his family knows

and if they know (especially the agent), then there would be story out on it (citing "unnamed sources")

2. the Cards can drive the value of #1 AND commit to Josh Rosen publicly -- they aren't mutually exclusive. The Jets have announced that #3 is for sale without working out Kyler Murray.

As I alluded to in my post, "Rosen is a smart guy", for this to work he would know that if he mentioned it to anyone, it would get leaked. So, he keeps quite and laughs at everyone buying into it. Why else is he keeping quite on this whole thing?

A frenzy is driven by the unknown, by committing to Rosen they tip their hand and loose the element of the unknown.

hasn't said a single thing the entire time, which is weird, then claims someone hacked his account and removed all cardinal photos. because that makes sense right? that's what hackers do?

Add to that a theory that I believe may be worth considering: if KK and Murray have any sort of relationship like they supposedly have and talk occasionally, isn't it also a shrewd move to help Murray and his people up his value by playing into the hype even if he doesn't intend to draft Murray? If he doesn't go #1 he falls and loses money at a steady rate. A lot of good karma to be had for KK and the Cards by helping a kid who KK has been at minimal on a positive friendly basis for many years. You create a potential for a draft day haul for yourself and make money for a kid who might fall otherwise. It's a win win win.

My friend, you must understand the art of the troll. Josh certainly does as he comes from that generation. If I am Josh and playing along with KK to try and get myself surrounded by more players via trade, deleting the pics and then claiming I was hacked is EXACTLY the hand I play.

That's my point. Hackers don't hack your account, remove some photos and back off. and if they did, you still have them and could put them back.

The QB position is too important and if they are considering Murray at all, it's because they view him as significantly better than Rosen... meaning they will draft him number one and not even go after a boatload of picks unless it's Rosen all along

I have said all this too in intermediate posts. If Rosen is still the guy, he's a company man and I do not see why not he would go along with a ruse and have some fun :)

I keep remembering Michael Bidwill making the statements, “I messed up last year/I’m gonna be playing my cards close to the vest moving forward. He made these statements the day he fired Wilks. Most thought he was limiting that to the coaching search. I’m fairly sure he meant moving forward, with everything they are doing.

JMO. I think the cards organization is a running a very tight ship right now... I’m not worried.
