Smith is going to get a GM fired...... I totally realize what I am saying.

I can't wait for the biggest bust in the draft thread. I will have a tough time narrowing it down to just one of these Jackhole QB prospects we are stuck with this year.

Smith
Barkley
Glennon

All late 20 picks. And are guaranteed 2nd or 3rd rounders in last years draft.

I am pretty sure Smith would have gone #8 to the Fins last year, but whatever.

But lets take a guard for a team that will probably continue to throw the ball 70% of the time, and one with two injury prone RB's....Im sure Warmack will be ROY witht he impact he's gonna make.:bang:

Got to do the same gap-analysis we did with Warmack vs. Colledge and Fisher vs. Potter (or Levi).

How much of a talent gap would there be between Jarvis Jones and either Acho, Scofield or Groves? A bigger or smaller gap than those involving our O-linemen?

I would have to say a smaller gap between Jones and our current LBs compared to Warmack vs. Colledge. At least they can do their job. Watching our current OL is painful and a major upgrade is needed. Sure Colledge was probably the best OG we had last year, but that isn't saying much. Not to mention his play definitely does not match with his salary.

Only one vote for Kenny Vaccaro?

Come on Jetstream, Bucky, Hook Em, Cbus, what's wrong with you guys?

Dude reminds me of Adrian Wilson actually in the fact he hits and does not consistently wrap up, and Adrian hits really well and still will miss the stop at times looking for the high impact stop. Maybe it was because the whole secondary was a cluster bomb and K K Kenny had to be at too many places at the same time. Now, Okafor is going to be a beast in the NFL, a QB's nightmare and is top ten talent in my opinion. If we were picking around 20 on up in the first, I would draft Vaccaro. If I wanted a pass rushing demon, I WOULD DRAFT OKAFOR AT 7 and if the rest of nation can't see it with the crappy supporting staff Okafor had around them...don't tell me later I did not tell you so when Okafor goes off in the NFL.

Like there is any chance Warmack will be the pick with Geno Smith on the board

We are talking Guard vs QB, you guys realize that dont you?

Plain and simple if we take Geno and he turns out to be a bust... well then were gonna be in an even DEEPER hole than we were before.

Warmack is by far the safest pick at #7 and will vastly improve our anemic run game. Better run game = better passing game. You realize that, don't you?

BTW who do you expect to protect this young QB? Colledge? Snyder? Sendlein? I'm pretty sure we've all seen what they've been able to do.. just ask Kolb.

Chance is the safest pick. And since Geno Smith is the consensus (supposedly) pick as the best QB in the Draft and the first six teams pass on him and no other team needing a QB moves up to take him, I'd be scared off. Take a chance on Chance.

Definitely, top 3 draft prospect IMO.

Especially when they are also BPA at that spot.

I just read yet another 2013 draft analysis that said this draft is a strong one for offensive line and defensive back and weak at quarterback. There are no potential franchise quarterbacks available. Geno Smith is the closest and he's carries a low first-high second round grade. Hope 'we' don't force the issue.
