Oh yeah does not hurt that Eli Manning plays behind the offensive line that has given up the least sacks so far either.

See... I think it's fair to leave out first- and even some second-year QBs as just too difficult to gauge from week to week. Is Matt Stafford really a Top 10 QB right now? Is Drew Brees? Both of those guys (and Brady too) are so reliant on our history with them to justify them as top QBs.

I'm not immune. If you asked me who the Top 10 QBs are, I'd probably give you Phil Rivers, and he might not be that good anymore.

I'd rather have Jay Cutler than Tony Romo.

All you need is a top 12 QB and you have as good a chance as anyone of making the Super Bowl.

Stafford and Romo are borderline along with Rivers.

I like Romo more than Cutler as I think Romo suffers from being on the Cowboys. That team is so disfunctional IMO. Cutler is talented, but I have yet to see him elevate his team's talent.

Rivers is just imploding, but I wonder if it is due to his total lack of offensive weapons. Ryan Matthews is a better fantasy RB than regular RB (he is soft) and Antonio Gates is a shell of his former self. Norv has destroyed that team.

We disagree on Brees, as I feel he is really good at elevating the talent around him. Coslton and Henderson are just not great physical talents.

Eli makes that line better than it is. This is the same line that was rated by PFF as the worst in the league last year. Granted, I don't put a ton of stock into PFF, but still, it isn't that talented.

If the Cards are going to get a QB, they better not wait until 2014. That QB class looks horrific. Assuming Tyler Bray entere the draft this year, Logan Thomas is the #1 rated QB for that class . I know some QB's will emerge but anh class that has Thomas as #1 is not good. David Carr's younger brother, Derek, will probably end up being the #1 guy but the class is filled with mediocre, at best, prospects like Taj Boyd, AJ McCarron, and Zack Mettenberger.

Nobody in that class holds a candle to Wilson, and I hope he slides. However, he's going to play in a couple of upcoming high profile games, Bama and LSU, and if he plays well, his stock will be back up where it was.

You guys can argue over who is or isn't an elite NFL QB all week but the sad fact is we don't have one. :(

Yep & until we fork over a bushel of #1s & 2s we probably won't ever have one...we just don't ever suck bad enough to have that chance. :bang:
