I'm thinking we see Used to be Fast Willie Parker in camp by no later than Sunday morning.

Wasn't he in the UFL or something so we could get him for Vet Minimum I guess and if he doesn't work out at least we had him to take some of the preseason snaps.

I mean we've picked up every other player the Steelers have jettisoned the last 4 years so why not give Willie a shot?

Don't be a silly, Jerome Bettis would be a better fit, but he is more the age of the ex Steeler turn Cardinal player.

I haven't watched a Redskin game in years. Does Portis have anything left?

I did think about Bettis because he is the right age but he was a power back and we'll need more of a smaller quicker receiving back to replace Ryan W so I lowered the age standard a bit and decided on UTBF Willie even though Parker is a little young to fit the Cards ex Steeler standard.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see them bring in Vernon Hayes.

Out of this list...Kevin Smith or Fred Taylor...with Taylor being the preference. He's experienced, humble and can teach Beanie a few tricks...like how to get through the LOS.

Dominic Rhodes and Julius Jones look more about the right price. I never could figure what happened to Jones after his 1,000 yard season.

We won't need to get another RB. We have Beanie, Smith, and LSH. I think we are good. Westbrook was good, but I am not sure if he is good anymore.

You defniitely want a 4th right now, if only take to take carries away from the other guys and limit their exposure to injury.

How the Card's FO works, I doubt we go get another RB. If we need 4, they will move someone up. I really think those 3(with a 4th moved up) will be enough for us to keep the running game going still.

Out of this list I like Clinton Portis, Fred Taylor, Brian Westbrook, Tiki Barber and Lendale White. The only one that I would offer more than the vet minimum would be Portis. Why not bring in a few of them and the best one gets to play in the regular season.

Buckhalter out of that list. He's not great or anything but he had the exact same injury as Ryan Williams right? I'd bring him in just to mentor Ryan and provide depth on the RB squad.

Didn't Portis used to dress up in costume for interviews, etc

He could at least dress up in a roadrunner suit and liven up Whiz's boring pressers
