I disagree…”clocking it for 4th down” was the right move. The clock was running! If there was no play called then you have to audible, it’s a rushed play! There’s a lot can go wrong here! Anything in bounds and the kicker has to run out with less than 15 seconds to hurry a kick! A sack! An INT!
IMO…There’s more blame to Kyler Murray for sliding too early than blaming KK for clocking it on 3rd down with a running 22 second clock.
Well if your going to spike it on third down why not run the clock down to 3 or 4 seconds? They all thought they had the first down, and that is a huge problem in and of itself. It what many here are talking about situational football. These are things that most players learn, at the latest in high school, but most learned in pee wee or pop warner football.

Right? The best QBs in the game take that responsibility on and like it or not, Kyler talks like he’s one of the best in the game and more importantly is PAID like he’s one of the best in the game.
Hard to disagree. I have a feeling Kliff's ego would be hurt if he weren't the one calling plays when it matters.
