That blows, I enjoyed driving up North when it was 112 outside and getting out of the heat. I'd rather drive to Flagstaff than to Glendale, even if it is closer. Glendale is a snoozefest IMO.

Frequently rated the best training camp in the NFL. What bull crap this is. Unbelievably stupid. I hope these jerkholes lose 50% of their attendance.

Really liked the idea of it staying in Flag, but not upset at all about them moving it to Glendale. No matter what the price, I can sleep in my own bed, wake up to go watch the Cardinals training camp just to go home that night, eat my own food, sleep in my own bed, and do it again the next day.

I will never go to training camp in Glendale. Training camp is as much getting out of the Phoenix heat as it is about football.

NAU & Flagstaff are stupid if they let the Cards move their training camp from there. The hotels and restaurants are going to lose a lot of money. They should have put a good deal on the table for the Cards. I'll save about $400 and drive to Glendale for the practices. UoP is air conditioned so no big deal for me.

For those asking IF the Cards move training camp to Glendale I'm told it will be the same as Flagstaff they won't charge for admission

There is no way the kids will have the same access to players like in Flag.

Yup. I'm also thinking seriously of dropping my season tix if they do this.

I mean who can think of a more awesome reason to take a few days off work to go to Glendale in August? Ugh.

I mentioned on this board a few months ago, that camp will be moved to Glendale. Camp will be on a field to be built that is covered next to Cards stadium. So it will be a semi outside feeling.

I feel bad for Flagstaff and it's merchants. I will miss being there amongst the trees. It's not a signed deal yet so I guess things could change . It's now a 98% probability. Thanks for the memories Flagstaff! I looked forward to you every year since 88.

I will probably not save money. This move will probably cost me more money. Eating and Drinking at the YardHouse every day will not be cheap.

Drop your season tickets because you don't get to go to Flagstaff for two days a year??? Not because they had three horrible seasons in a row? Its the Flagstaff deal that will break the camels back?

Now I can use those two vacation days I save to go up North for more fishing and camping.

Trend:

2001:
5 of 31 teams trained at home

2013:
20 of 32 teams trained at home

Philly most likely moving home in 2014

Ugh, this sucks, IMHO.

I will probably still go a day and see how it is; but, I just don't think it will be as fan-friendly/accessible as Flag was.

I will still go to Flag for a weekend in July.

No, I'll probably cave and renew, but I'm not sending in my form. They can call me and I can have my 30 second rant.

It better have a heck of an a/c system.

Sorry Cards. I can see going a couple of times but I'm taking my vacation dollars (I'm the fan who bought the overpriced T-shirts at camp in Flag) someplace cooler.

Stupid move. Way to kill the only real "tradition" this team has established in 25 freaking years. Just ridiculous.

Don't blame the Cards. Its a business and both NAU and the City of Flagstaff did not put a good deal on the table. NAU build a new modern dorm but put the Cards in the old one. Its the merchants that will suffer. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

"Hey Cardinals fans, I know these last few years have sucked ass...but thankfully you can drive to Glendale in 112 degree heat to watch football from far away with zero access to the players. Since we are so nice, we won't charge you for what was previously free, unless you count paying stadium prices for food and drink instead of bringing your own cooler. Finally, if you could pay that season ticket Invoice 2 weeks earlier than it has ever been, we would appreciate it - Sincerely Micheal "totally not Bill" Bidwill"
