Ditto on both.

Makes it easy, doesn't it?

Now, me and my sis (who lives with me) have a difference of opinion on a few things. She likes Project Runway, The Biggest Loser and those pregnancy shows. Ugh. Luckily, we are usually on pretty opposite schedules so it works out for the most part.

Mine watches General Hospital on Soap Network. :bang: She's missed dozens of episodes and several years, yet knows exactly what is going on plot-wise...

Also watches way too many home renovation/decorating shows. Maybe she's trying to tell me something... nah.

Yikes me too!

I watch Y&R, started from the beginning with my grandma. When the hubby catches an episode he jokes about how its been months and they are still talking about the same thing. LOL I know he secretly loves the folks of Genoa City.

As for the home improvement shows, he manfully holds the cringing to a minimum when the DVR list contains hours of shows, I watch them all designing, bathrooms, kitchens, fix ups, rental spaces---I'm an addict, we once flew to Boston on Jet Blue, they had in the seats TV that had HGTV---I thought he was gonna jump.

Well he does have me watch Ice Road Truckers, Dirty Jobs and that hideous Survivorman show, yuck. I do kinda like the truckers, but don't tell. I can get two Color Splashes for every episode I watch. :)

It used to be Greys Anatomy - god I hate that program, i used to get in trouble because it was hard to even pass through the room without making a snarky comment about it ...... I also was labeled anti-social because we'd have a couple friend come over and the three of them would watch it and i'd find something/anything else to do with my time ........ that led to a long running "your husband doesn't like my husband" thing from my wifes friend - which is way more dramatic than I'd get into .... I liked her husband just fine, but no way am I saddling up on the couch and watching that crap with them

She never had any interest in Glee - the new 90210 didn't stick

She used to be into One Tree Hill - I didn't mind some of the early stuff when they were in HS and there was a lot of focus on brothers & basketball ........ then it just went way too out there for me - I am allowed to mock this program though, be it the squinty eye delivery from the guy who is no longer on it, the many lives of the evil dad, how everyone from this town (is it a town or a city?!?! - that seems to change from episode to episode) has celebrity contacts and is uber successful ....... and then how they always refer to characters by their full names ....... funny stuff

gossip girl is one that she currently likes and I don't hate - again because of the cheese and it doesn't take itself that serious .... she watches most of those when I'm not around, but I'll catch portions of episodes every now and again

we'll watch project runway .... i find it amusing .... i like competition and it cracks me up

so I guess the one program out there that she really enjoys and must watch that I absolutely detest is The Sing Off ........... god I hate that program

So You Think You can Dance is about the worst I can say.

That show is horrible, not only because of the content, but because the episodes are on multiple times a week for over an hour at a time. That show just kills my primetime viewing when it's on.

Mine watches whatever I have on.

Thankfully neither she nor I have ever seen a single episode of anything that is considered "trendy". For example neither of us has ever seen a single episode of Jersey Shore, Glee, I'm a fat bastard, holy crap you can dance, man you suck at singing, anything reality, Lost, Found, Heroes, Villains, 24, 48, 36, Real Housewives of Idiot County, Fix my Crib, My Ride Sucks, Who's your Hoochie Mama, I Dated a Chimp, Big Fat Sister in DA House, Wives who can Sew and happen to reside in Orange County, CSI New Zealand, Desperate Hookers.......none of that stuff.

It's either movies or Family Guy for the most part. Sometimes she watches Criminal Minds, but that's a rarity. I love my wife!

MTV's Teen Mom. I couldn't care less about some stupid 16 year old and their drama. I want to slit my wrists when that show is on.

My sister watches that show and the girls that work in my classroom also watch it. I have never seen it, but I gotta think it's lame, lame, lame.

Had two things recording today, neither of which I wanted to watch, as I was watching something else. One was for my guy, one was for my sis. Hated that I had to choose one of those programs or stop watching.

I stopped watching. Boooo, as it is my nice 46" TV that is doing the recording.

The Wives of _____

Any Reality show that follows a no-talent hack of a celebrity. Kardashians are the top of the list.

Pretty much any reality show, that has modern say aristocrats staring in them. The skewed realities these people live in, and their "hardships" make me want to throw up. And just when I think it can't get worse, the kids of these sub-humans appear, and show that it we all have a generation of martians to look forward to see growing up. Since these kids don't even seem to be from our planet half the time.

And do any of these people ever work ?

The people are so poor in character that it really makes me believe that we are making stars of a-holes, and evil, horrible people. This is what people want to strive to be ? I just simply don't get it, and even over hearing the conversations these people have just drive me nutz.

Disgusting.

Anybody else's spouse dominating the crappy airwaves with all things Kate and William?

I am under strict orders to not interrupt my wife through Friday when this event finally comes to an end and these 2 people who will never impact my life can stop impacting my tv viewing habits.

My girlfriend keeps watching shows on them and I can't take it. My mom is British and I'm probably supposed to care about this but I just don't care that he's goingto be king and she'll be the queen.

I am going to watch in the hope that: 1) William ascends to the throne immediately following the wedding, 2) William begins to attempt to restore power to the monarchy, 3) Harry starts his own attempt at power.
