What's your (realistic) ideal scenario for Wednesday?

Here's mine:

- The Suns send Nos. 21 & 27 to Philly for No. 13 and a future second rounder -- contingent on Sefalosha's availability.

- Suns draft Sefalosha at No. 13, then send James Jones to Charlotte for a future second rounder.

Suns get their capable wing while clearing room to make a decent offer for Tim Thomas. If Thomas balks, Suns use that money to sign Garbajosa.

Is that too much to ask for?

ideal scenario? Somehow we get rid of James Jones so we can keep both TT and KT. I don't care WHO we draft, or if we draft, I just REALLY want to go into next season with a 3,4,5 rotation consisting of Shawn, Boris, TT, Amare and KT. That's sick, just freaking sick - no one has that kind of depth in their frontcourt.

Garbajosa just signed with Toronto. Not a bad scenario, but I would rather see us get Brewer or Carney if they are there. Not sure that they will be though.

I wish that there was more video on Sefalosha. I really don't know anything about this kid.

I like this strategy. Then the Suns can concentrate on the BPA for depth and ballhandling help for Nash. If D'Antoni is not worried about the money, why should I?... at least not this year.

I've seen that one 15 second clip already. That's not exactly enough for me to judge the talent. That's why I wish there were more videos on him.

Ideally I want Sergio Rodriguez. The kid has insane passing skills and drive/dish much like Nash. The rest of the team wouldn't need to adjust to a different style with this kid on the floor.

Oops sorry I didn't know the video was only 15 secs long

You won't get an arguement from me here. Although I've come to expect the unexpected in the draft (of any sport), so who knows whats going to happen

#1. Trade #21 and #27 to Seattle for #10
(Draft Safalosha or Simmons)

and then one of the two below.

#2A. Trade Jones and Barbosa to N.O. for Smith and #15
(Draft Collins, Rondo or Rodriguez)

#2B. Trade Jones and Barbosa to N.O. for Smith, Macijauskas and #42
(Draft Best PG available)

At #21 or #27 I am really starting to like Alexander Johnson.

I'd like to trade with New Orleans, I'd love to get JR Smith if we can't get Carney. Not sure if I would rather have Smith or Carney anyway.

I love that idea, i know alot of people are down on Smith, but i think he would be tremendous in our offense and the third year for HS kids seems to be the year most of them either make it and show what they have or disappear...

If they can get #10, take Carney,

If they get #13 take Sefolosha,

If no trades, take BPA at #21, Sergio, Sene, Pecherov, Collins, etc.
I really do not think Redick will be there at #21, and probably would not take him if he was, but it would present a 5 minute problem for me!

Try to trade or sell #27 to someone. Maybe with JR.

I want TT back next year and like what D'Antoni said about him.
If this means trading JR and try to have Grant go elsewhere, not resign House that would be fine with me.

Ideal yet realistic? That's hard.

Ideally, I'd like to see Grant retire, JR get traded for a lottery pick, and and TT signs a five year deal for about $2.5 million a year.

Realistic? 21 and 27 for the NO pick to take Sefolosha. Sign TT to a one year deal. Beyond that, sit tight and make sure everybody on the team comes to camp in top shape.

George, to quote Frazier Crane, "what color is the sky in your world?" Sign TT to a ONE year deal? You're kidding right? That was supposed to be in the idealistic realm, correct? I mean a guy who was just waieved and benched for almost an entire season, but then has a HUGE coming out in the playoffs and is in the PRIME of his career is going to take a ONE YEAR DEAL? There's NOTHING realistic about that and if you try to bring up a GP or Karl Malone type deal, those are both guys who were at the very end of their careers going to a team that had already won 3 TITLES before and we're just gravy training on. Basically, nothing like the TT situation.

Ideal, but realistic.

We try to trade up but cannot find takers. Rodriguez or Rondo drop and we pick one or the other at 21. We take Boone at 27 and call it a day.

Likely,

Everyone we want is taken so we take someone at 21 we don't really want but might make the team. We trade #27 for a future #2 and some nameless training camp dropout.

I'd like Thabo and Sergio or James White if they can't move up to get Sefolosha.

It would only happen if TT thinks he can get one more big payday thus he'd sign a 1 or 2 year deal get his ring and then get his last big contract. The chances of that aren't very high though

Keep JR. He's got a decent contract and contributed during the regular season.

Don't worry about TT (unless some great trade comes along that wipes Marion or KT's contract).

Select Sergio Rodriguez with 21 -or- trade the 21 & 27 for a decent pick in next year's draft (if that's possible).

It is vital that the Suns get a backup PG who can penetrate, pass, and shoot, preferably this season. When that happens Barbosa can be tossed, if necessary.

1. Suns trade up to #13 or #14, and Ronnie Brewer drops into their laps.

2. Suns stay put, and teams piss on the Euros--Thabo drops to #21, then Sergio Rodriguez drops to #27.

3. The Suns trade KT, James Jones and a pick to the Hornets for P.J. Brown and J.R. Smith.

None of those scenarios are very realistic, I'm afraid. :(

i'd love for that to happen, but I don't know many guys the wrong side of 30 getting big contracts, especially considering what the rest of TT's career has been like.

Suns Trade Picks #21 and #27 (cash possibly) for Rodney Carney or Ronnie Brewer (whichever Draft Pick is available)...

Brewer has better size, defensive ability, passes better, and can be a 3 position player. Carney is a better athlete, shoots better, and will likely be a better scorer.

Brewer is one of my favorite players but both have traits I like, I've never seen Thabo Sefolosha.

trade #21, 27, and Jones in any combo, or in seperate trades.

move up in the draft, get the guy we want.

use JJ's cap space to resign TT.

Ideal? We trade Barbosa and the #27 draft pick for Dwayne Wade. San Antonio decides to rebuild after missing the finals and trades Tim Duncan for Shawn Marion and James Jones.

I'm loving all this attention to Sefolosha. I think he'd fit in well. That said I think Brewer is more needed as a combo guard. So:

1. Trade up with the 2 picks to get Brewer or Sefolosha
2. Keep the 21 and get Rodriguez and trade the 27 for second round pick and cash to get (Novak, Halperin, Pittsnoggle, Freeland, Adams, etc)
3. Keep one of the 2 picks and trade the other with next years Suns pick to get high enough to get Sefolosha, then draft Rodriguez with the remaining pick.
4. (unrealistic) Somehow nab Sene and Sefolosha.
5 wet dream: somehow trade Barbosa and various picks for
Nash/Rodriguez
Bell/Sefolosha
Marion/JR/Skita
Amare/Diaw/TT
KT/Sene/Grant/Burke
