I think people could have gotten seats simular to SDS seat locations if the Cards had priced the tickets in the new stadium differently.
My problems is the sideline seats are all the same price, $75. So, a seat on the 10 yardline is the same as the seat on the 50 yardline. The ROH is also $75 from the 10 to the 10. They needed 3 levels of pricing, with the seats near the 50 being more expensive. Say, $100 for between the 40s, $75 for 40 - 20. Then $65 for 20 to endzone.
Also, the SDS lodge price was about $125, but the matching seat in club seating is $325 in the new stadium. That a huge difference. Many of the lodge ticket holders moved to the $75 50 yardline seats. There just wasn't a good pricing structure setup to get lodge ticket holders to transistion to simular seats in club seating.
There was just no reason not to want those $75 tickets so everyone no matter where their SDS seat was, targeted those seats and now many are unhappy, including me. I wanted ROH row 1 (Ticket holder since 1989 and had row 1 in SDS) but got row 3.
