Where do you stand on the QB situation?

Who do you want to start at QB next season?

Leinart's had season ending injuries twice in his last 6 starts. My guess is there is a real question as to his durability as well.

The last one is a bit silly to hold against him, unless you're claiming his collar bone is weaker somehow than Kurts.

I really hate durability questions, I tend to stop questioning people at the point of actual bone breaking, unless you want to fund a bone density study then maybe we can continue this talk. I somewhat understand it more when it's a function of their play, like Q, he plays like a RB on a mission to run over people so yeah he gets hurt more than your average WR, that's a valid concern or a valid durability question IMO, also it's fine to question guys with constant hammys, groin pulls etc, goes to conditioning or just weak tendons or something but Matt was flung into the ground funny, stuff happens.

That and our line is now not a constant cluster which it tended to be that year, Kurt was nearly killed behind it too, but when he wasn't getting killed he was fumbling so there you go.

If Leinart had had only one injury(collar bone) then it wouldn't be a concern but he's had two in a very small span of games/pass attempts. Maybe it's a coincidence but unfortunately, maybe it's not. It's certainly a cause for skepticism.

Warner had a thumb injury that ruined his career for how long?

Jake got one of those too, didn't keep him from playing but sent him off the deep end on effectiveness.

I still think of that every time I see Rodney Harrison on TV, he did it on purpose and kept bending it, what a class guy.

I'm not sure what you're arguing. I was just as skeptical of Warner's thumb injury allowing him to return to form or stay on the field. I'm not saying that Leinart won't eventually prove to be a week-in, week-out QB but to be injured twice in his first season's worth of games and not that many pass attempts is a red flag.

Any team considering his potential would have to take a risk based on what's happened so far. I don't think any offer to the Cardinals that would be worth actually getting rid of him would be given based on his injury history. His potential IF he stays healthy is likely high but investing picks and money in a guy that hasn't been able to stay on the field just doesn't seem like it's going to happen.
