Do the Saints and Lions even have new head coaches yet? A little premature to tab them. I have to believe that Josh is just too stupid for Saban or Mancini, not to mention that Josh would melt like butter on Arizona asphalt in the New York media environment.

I would guess Baltimore or Chicago where he can compete for a starting job.

Nah, they hold onto the dying dream another year...

McCown stays in Phoenix three more years... One under another QB and then he leads...

Da Bears...

Chicago does not have a legitimate starter at this point and Josh could elevate their passing game...with a running game and a decent line he will not have to run for his life on every play and if his competition is Grossman and Orton.. he will be the the starter. Muhammed, Berrian and Gage would love to have him there...

Muhammed loves Rex Grossman. There's no way that Josh goes there. Grossman's shown enough to go into 2006 as the unquestioned starter in Chicago. The entire team rallies around him. Apparently, he even has the offensive staff smoked, since that's the only reason that I can think of that they'd get so wholly away from Thomas Jones in that game.

yes I'm sure Josh is dying to be the guy that replaces Brett Favre.

Dolphins.

Saints will probably draft either Leinart or Young and would probably prefer a more experienced QB as a mentor. McCown is too much like Harrington for the Lions to go after him. It doesn't sound like the Cardinals have any intention of re-signing him so while many posters would like him to stay the reality is that he's most likely leaving. Other than the Dolphins I think the Jets are the most likely team to sign Josh.

If I were Leinart or Young and my coach said, "Meet Josh McCown. He's going to mentor you on what it takes to be a quarterback in the NFL," I'd laugh my ass off and go play Madden in the locker room. That guy has no credibility in the NFL anywhere.

Well, that's a more colorful way of putting it. If I were GM of the Saints I'd draft Leinart and trade for Brad Johnson. When you compare play styles Johnson/Leinart and McNair/Young would be ideal master/padawan pairings.

I listen to Chicago radio (WSCR) all day. Muhammed loves no one but himself. Most of what I hear is they compare Rex to Bobby Hebert. So maybe he has some officals from the bears org smoked, he isnt fooling the callers.
