Black Jesus
No Talent Ass-Clown
Is he out or sick this week? They keep running Fitz and Johnson together and Walters has been in the slot...
Best Receiver in the NFL!!!!!!!
Best Receiver in the NFL!!!!!!!
Best Receiver in the NFL!!!!!!!
i think he is, i saw him open deep 1 on 1 a few times and didnt get his look, you gonna jump on him for not busting over 100 yards every game? the man is relentless
K9's talent evaluation is based entirely on 40 times.
Man you have a vendetta. Who said he was the best in the NFL? He may be the best on this team, a team that has 2 top 8-10 recievers. He's the heart and soul. Even superman gets days off. Hell, I'll take Q over any WR in this league based on what he brings as a person and secondly as a WR.
Big Red Rage did. Right here.
EDIT: Anquan's had four big games (more than 100 yards or more than 5 catches) in 13 tries. In the process, he's scored 4 TDs, the same amount as Larry Fitzgerald in 4 fewer games. In the same number of games (or fewer), here's how some of the other WRs in the NFL have fared:
Torry Holt: 9 big games.
Ocho Cinco: 10 big games.
Steve Smith: 8 big games.
Javon Walker: 5 big games.
Marvin Harrison: 9 big games.
Reggie Wayne: 5 big games.
T.J. Houshmandzadeh: 7 big games.
Andre Johnson: 9 big games.
Lee Evans: 8 big games.
Braylon Edwards: 5 big games.
Larry Fitzgerald: 5 big games.
So, I guess that some Supermen take more days off than others? I don't even bust on him for not getting 100 yards every game, but I think I get the chance to bust on his jockers when--as has been the case nearly every time in the past--all of Anquan's big games this season have come in losses (StL, Chi, Min).
Anquan Boldin has fewer touchdowns than Joey Galloway. But I guess every team needs a mascot. sarcasm

Is it Anquan you dont like, or the people that love him?
Some convienintly left out stats
Anquan is:
Top 10 in YPG for WR
Top 10 in YAC for WR
Top 10 in the NFL in First down receptions
7th in the NFL in receptions
9th in total yards
Of the guys you named above he is either tied or beats them all in at least one of the above statistical categories. Also, of the 11 players yu named above, 6 of their resprctive teams are under .500 Not exactly like their "big games" have done much to help their teams..

I notice that you don't list the most meaningful stat for WRs, where I'm not sure if Anquan is in the Top 25: TDs. Those are the only thing that matter on the scoreboard
I agreeThe most meaningful stat for WR's is number of catches. That shows that you are open and hauling in the catch which is the WR's main objective. Boldin has consistently been near the top in that category to go along with yards. TD's are a byproduct of goal line situation. You coulsd argue that catches for 1st downs are just as meaningful as TD's because those are what keep the drives alive to get the TD'S. I don't know how Boldin stacks up in that category but i would guess that he's near the top. He's not the best WR in the game but he's definitley in the top 15. I believe last year that Steve Smith was the only WR with more 100 yard games than Boldin and Q missed a few games. There's a reason that the same WR's are near the top every year in catches and yards.
