I asked this question in another thread and got Leslie Frazier, which fills the requirements, but still isn't good enough. If Horton took 2 years from now for us to just barely eke into the playoffs on the last week entirely on the back of one player, I'd be happy, but it wouldn't be what I expected out of our new coach.
Are there any examples of coaches that were retained by an organization that had just fired the losing staff around them, and then had an amazing winning pedigree?
Don't get me wrong, I think Horton will be a great coach somewhere, but I just don't trust it in Arizona. There's too much previous baggage from the early regime.
