Is everything
Wiz got out of Kurt's way... good lord. You're right. Warner single-handedly took the worst team of all time to the playoffs for two straight years after having lost his job the previous two years to pond scum like Matt Leinart and Josh McCown and there was NOTHING that changed in the organization that made that happen besides a light bulb going off in Warner's head.

Last I checked football is a total team sport. Not one, not even two, not even three great players can make a team great all by themselves. This thread is perhaps the most irrational thread of all time. We're talking insane asylum material here.

how the heck can anyone type this with a straight face. Wiz never came into the equation? Warner WAS MEDIOCRE-HORRIBLE AND WASHED OUT OF THREE TEAMS... THREE DIFFERENT TEAMS before Wiz figured out best how to use him.

Seriously, the ONLY thing DIFFERENT IN Warner's equation in the second half of his career was WIZ and yet Warner gets all the credit for turning us around... even though he had been here for two years and had done nothing but suck and lose his job to a rookie and Josh Freaking McCown.

Todd Haley deserves some credit here, too. Once Haley took over play calling duties, the Warner renaissance really began. After Haley left, Warner returned to earth more than a little.

Yet we still won the division and a playoff game to boot... This thread is a joke! I mean, why even have head coaches. Just grab a great QB and a decent OC, and you're all set! Super Bowl here we come!! :bang:

And who hired Todd Haley to be the offensive coordinator?

The egg. No, the chicken. No, wait..the egg. Uhm, no it was the chicken.

I get a kick out of people like joeshmo would call themselves team and NFL insiders just because they get to clean out my luxury suite after games.

The whole premise of this thread was to originally point out that Whiz is a little off kilter from his normal routine and he needs to right himself. Back to Whiz basics. It was taken to the gutter by the usual suspects.

Surely Warner had a hand in that too!

;)
It was all Warner. He was not only the QB but also the talent scout, offensive coordinator, and even the head coach. Whiz was nothing but an albatross bringing us down and Kurt and Denny's players won those two division titles in spite of having to carry Ken "the Failure" Whisenhunt's dead weight. I mean if it wasn't for that damn Whisenhunt we probably would've gone 32-0 and won two Super Bowls.

Obviously, Warner was just tanking it when Green was coach, so Green would get fired. Then he got Whiz, the empty hat, to coach, so Warner could run the show.

Brilliant.

Unfortunately most of us here don't get a kick out of big mouths that continue to talk out of their ass, and spout utterly ridiculous crap that shows zero cognitive ability. In direct contrast to you, Joe actually knows what he's talking about. Stick to your luxury suite, you continue to embarrass yourself with each post.

Give me a break, I never said the Warner era was a failure. I said Whiz never came into the equation. Warner made him not the other way around. When Warner came aboard I said I loved his game but McCown offered more for the future. At some point I was wrong and admitted it. You take your cheap shots and stick it where the sun don't shine and refute what was actually said ok slick. This franchise was not turned around by Whiz. Warners offense changed our fate and Whiz has fixed nothing else so here we are.

he's right, warner made the giants great. and he was awesome before whiz took over. oh wait, that's not accurate?

I think Whiz has been a success, but this team's stock is falling. I'm fairly certain it is going to get worse before it gets better.

It's going to be a long rocky season.

I'd just like to point out that we haven't returned to the Super Bowl since Clancy Pendergast left. Who fired Clancy? WHIZ! :(

It happens. I recall Ravens and steelers teams havng 6-8 win seasons sandwiched between there success.
