Playing the other side of the line where he is more concerned about containing the run.

Okeafor blew up once he was moved around more and rushed off the edge as an OLB. He is going to be a very good OLB in the 3-4 IMO.

Cutting both Okeafor and Berry would be just a giant blunder. You have no one behind them who could step in and equal their production.

I think your mistaking, vinny. Whiz said that he understood Browns abscence because he was getting married.

I agree cutting both Okeafor and Berry at this point would be a big blunder. If they were going to do it they should have done it when they decided that they were not going to resign Davis. This probally a mute point because as of right now there is not any real depth at the DE position. I do expect a surprise cut that you wouldn't think of. Warner imo is safe because is a positive image for the team and great teammate. Warner is the poster boy for the NFL who is cracking down on poor charactor.

I think the issue was with Brown taking off time at mini camp to get married .. very curious timing to me ... there is plenty of other times to tie the knot ... very bad move on Browns part ...

Whisenhunt said he was fine with it. If Brown is cut, it won't have anything to do with when he got married.

Whisenhunt has tempered enthusiasm

Coach Ken Whisenhunt is pleased with the development of some of his younger players during off-season workouts, but he's not going overboard with praise, either.

When asked to appraise various players and positions, Whisenhunt almost always prefaces his remarks by noting that the players aren't in pads yet.

Whisenhunt is a head coach for the first time, but he's been around long enough to know that you don't make final evaluations on most players while they're still running around in T-shirts, shorts and helmets.

With a new staff and a new style, I think this summer's training camp will be one of the most intriguing in years. Whisenhunt wants to establish a tough, physical mindset, so I expect there will be far more hitting in camp than there was under Dennis Green. That will also help the staff evaluate players.

Whoa. This is the biggest bunch of hogwash to be posted on this board in a long, long time..
The latest in a series of obnoxious "K-Bombs."

I'll say it again - Each year we're told we have a ton of cap room and each year it gets gobbled up by rookie dollars, contract extensions, incentive payoffs etc. And each year - right about now - everyone's shocked when it's revealed that we're squeezed for cap dough.

You have a right to your opinion, K-9. But there's a difference between honest disagreement and personal attacks.

But under the school yard discussion rules (that K9 follow), the one that talks the loudest, has the better argumentation.

That's 4th grade common knowledge, Jeff.. :)

The last two seasons we had $10 million plus in salary cap room at this time of the year. The season before that, we had not even reached the minimum salary level.

So, I guess it's like that every year, except for all the times that it's not like that. Which has been every year in recent memory before this one.

Do I have that right, or are you going to quantify your opinion at all?
