Who exactly are the ASFN writers? Are you guys amateurs with other jobs or what.
I find the coverage here top notch and professional. You guys should have media jobs if you don't already.

What is ASFN all about? Is it basically a fan site?

It's a fan site on steroids. Great writing, great inside info, great posters.

ASFN is fan site. All the writers were recruited from current posters and I'm always looking for talent.

Harry Green and Jo Sparkes have written professionally. I don't know if Walter Mitchell has or not. Gary Jones and I are amateurs. Mike Olbinski has written for the Mesa Tribune and Alan Schuster is in journalism school.

No experience needed, just a good football mind and a willingness to take shots as well as accept praise.

If your command of the language is shaky, I'll still publish you but won't put you on the front page in the two lead stories.

If you are really good, I'll make you a regular. Many good posters just don't have the time. More turn down my requests for articles than acceot.

I actually covered the Cardinals and Suns for over two yeas for Rivals.com/AZProSports.com, and covered the Seattle Mariners spring training for the Associated Press the year that Ichiro was a rookie.

And I've also written for the East Valley Tribune covering high school sports as a stringer.

The picture of Green with the receivers was great.
It was grainy and sort of outta focus, but it was still great.
:)

To tell you the truth, the shots of the D-Line drill where they sprint to the big pad and Bryant's still in his stance as the other two are already off.... Those made my day. Hilarious stuff.

Seriously, good work.

Yes Section is refering to him and as Section is one of the posters who I know quite well (as in not just online) he also knows I am not him.

Wrong accent for a start.

Isn't Leibowitz a famous photographer? Does he have a radio show--how does that work, a radio show about photographs?

Guys if you dont know who THE leibowitz is then I feel sorry for you. It is Buster Leibowitz the famous 1940's boxer. Although he only weighed 127lbs he routinly fought in the light heavyweight division and won many an impressive bout.

I wrote an article during the end of the season about the possibility of the Cards getting the 1st pick.

I am just a fan. That's what makes this place so boss. If you have an idea for an article write it & e-mail it to Skkorp & if he thinks it is good material he will post it on the front page.

I'll see if I can get a link for my article.:self:
