I really didn't become a serious Cardinals fan until the season we signed Bertrand Berry from Denver. He went on to have, 14?, sacks that first year, and I was a huge fan from then on. What I really remember from the Plummer pre-Green era was watching Rob Moore and Frank Sanders make catches to keep us in or get us back into games. To Hollywood, it was that one amazing catch a game that Sanders would make that would keep me watching even in my pre-knowledgeable about football era.

I love Frank Sanders. Good not great player. Almost 7,000 yards in 8 years here.....

He dropped a few but was definitely a decent WR. Even more than that he was a wonderfully nice human being. I could see someone liking him enough to be in his top 10. Hell his one handed catch against the Cowboys in the playoffs is worthy of being on it (although he's not on my list)

I can't believe it took just as long for anyone to mention Larry Wilson. Just the fact that he is in the HofF and personally invented the safety blitz, by accident I might add. The story I heard was that he simply got caught up at the line of scrimmage when the offense went to a quick snap. He was so at of position he had no choice but to go ahead and blitz. I suppose he sacked the QB and the rest is history. Safety Blitz = Larry Wilson

How can you take Randle off the list? 60 Tds on 320catches 4 time pro-bowl and All-pro 1 time.Larry Wilson has to be one of the All-Time Great Cards.Top Card IMHO.

Dont get me wrong. I like Sanders and even thought about putting him on my list but in the end it was so frustrating to see him make Fitz-like catches and drop the easy ones.


But I guess you can make the same argument about Plumer and his behind the back pass. Man, I loved that 98 season.
