I couldn't help but wonder if the picture had a deeper meaning... but probably not.
It's just for new Suns, or "next" Suns, as the caption reads. I would imagine any full-team promotional material would feature Dudley, Gortat and Frye prominently.

I was reading a Paul Coro tweet that contained a picture on how the Suns plan to promote themselves that was posted at the arena box office. It was interesting that neither Gortat nor Morris were in this picture, however, Scola, Dragic, Johnson, Beasley and Marshall were in the picture. I have seen pictures of other variations as well but this is seems to be one of the newest. I couldn't help but wonder if the picture had a deeper meaning... but probably not.

I wouldn't read a deeper meaning into "NEXT STARTS NOW". It promotes the new additions to the Suns for the 2012-2013 season, of which there are quite a few. Gortat, Morris and Dudley aren't new additions, of course.

The connotation seems to be . . . the Suns future is no longer led by a 39- and 38-year old and disappointments such as Robin Lopez, is (overall) new and refreshing and, hopefully, going somewhere, so hop on board.

Their presentation seems honest and upbeat and infers some excitement. Time will tell.

It just caught me off guard that the Suns did not have some of their veteran players on the poster. I guess it's how one reads "NEXT STARTS NOW." Introducing new players is an interesting message though.

If anyone cares, here's a nice interview with Gortat after Poland beat Turkey. Last minute or so is about the Suns.

In a van...down by the river.
not to mention taking over a solid Pepperdine squad which was on the way up who had strung together multiple post-season appearances and turning them into a joke by the time he was done.

The ONLY thing he did for the 1993 squad was make the Westy Guarantee. Otherwise, the guy was an asbolutely ABYSMAL coach, who had absolutely zero success anywhere else in his career after.
I find it ironic that the two best teams that the Suns have fielded in the modern era have been coached by two severely flawed head coaches. '93 and '07......Westphal and D'Antoni. It bothers me.
