I know somebody mentioned that they did, I am curious to see what PP's and AJ's +/- stats are on the season so far as well as DD/Dan/CC.

I do

Calais Campbell is the 7th ranked 3-4 DE at a 3.4 rating, Dockett is 8th at 3.3

For perspective Justin Smith has an 11 rating. It's cumulative so the bad games have held them down a bit.

Dan Williams is a .7 which is realistic since he hasn't been quite as dominate thus far. 33rd rated DT.

Patrick Peterson has a -2.4 rating, 75th ranked (Asomugha is 77th ranked which mirrors reports so far). AJ Jefferson is the 17th ranked corner at a 2.2 rating. He's played the fourth most snaps in the league so far, so he's doing pretty well.

I do as well.
Good guideline.
I don't agree with everything they do, but I love the endeavor.

I'm a subscriber - No time to pull out the stats now, but one thing I find valuable is to take the negative or positive ratings for each player and then do a statistical "sort" by categories - such as: "Run Defense", "Pass Coverage" or "Pass Rush" and see where each player ranks against all other NFL players at each position.

This is not terribly difficult to do - just time consuming, I'm afraid.

And once you do it, you get to break apart the numbers again the following week.

PS What I do each week on my Upcoming Opponent Previews on the BRS is list significant positive or negative PFF ratings, # of snaps etc. next to each player on the opposing depth chart.(but not the Cardinals - there's seldom enough time and, besides, we figure to know our own players better than we do our opponents').

I love it during FA, or like you, for getting a feel for upcoming opponents strengths and weaknesses.
