I am going down to Tampa on the Friday before the game. There should be a lot going on over the weekend. Anyone know of anything fun to do before the game. I've never been to FL and have no idea where to go. And I'm not trying to spam here or anything, but if people are still looking for tickets ninjaticket.com still had quite a few decent seats available when I was on there this morning.

:D

OK...booked my travel, staying at Extended Stay America in St Pete according to Google Maps 13 miles from the Stadium. Flying in Saturday at 4:30 leaving Monday at 10:45.

Now I am just waiting on my Super Bowl tix to be shipped.

This is turning out to be a very expensive trip...but well worth it.

Be sure to check out www.vrbo.com.

We have used them a bunch of times for Tahoe, SLC and other vacations.

Looking to buy tickets since I got the "you've been skunked" email. I would like to be on the Cards side. Does anyone know what side/section number, 132-130 or 107-114.

Thanks in advance.

I recommend "Five Guys" Burgers in Tampa. Even though they might be from Philly.

You might find cheaper rooms up north in Springhill, Brooksville, Port Richey, etc. DO NOT book anything in Masaryktown.

I am going to Tampa. But not for the game, I am going this weekend.

Anyone know a great steakhouse in Tampa?
Bern's is considered one of the best steakhouses in the country.

Be sure to save room and check out their desert room after dinner too.

Just be aware that though they'll be less expensive, you're nowhere near the city - you're about an hour or more away from Tampa.

Same goes if anybody is staying near Orlando. You'll be about two hours away from Tampa, which will make for a long drive unless you're flying out right after the game. One thing that is very convenient is that the stadium is practically next door to the airport.

Has anyone heard of a gathering place for Cards fans? My brother and I are flying in, and want to hang with the Arizona Faithful. Strength in numbers...........Go Cards.
Not sure of a gathering place specifically for Cards fans, but there are two sports bars fairly close to the stadium that are of decent size that usually get good crowds. One is called Champs, it's actually in a mall near the stadium. The other is about a mile or two away on the same street as the stadium, it's called The Press Box.

I just bought my parking pass for the game for the unheard of low price of just $75.50 (including shipping and handling). This is the official parking supplier for the game. Go here.

Perhaps I should have added

:biglaugh:

I'm hoping local businesses in the area will be looking to cash in and I can get a parking spot in the $20-50 range...who knows.

I look at the what I've spent so far though and I wonder why am I even worrying about $75.50...$2400 ticket, $1000 air-hotel-car rental--whats another $75-$100 to park? LOL

That was my logic. And for the record, it's $50 to park, $10 service charge for the ticketing company and $15.50 for FedEx 2-Day delivery. Click the link in my first parking message, and you'll be able to see a map of where the parking is.
