Who is a guy in the draft you would draft in the sixth where you would not worry about the risk and roll the dice on them. Mine would be Russell Wilson, the QB out of Wisconsin...his main drawback being he is under 6 ft. but he is accurate, can make all the throws and seldom gets fooled by coverage schemes.

If I could think of a QB I like in the late rounds I would go that direction.

However, if I have to gamble on someone in the late rounds it would be Vontaze Burfict. I know it's not a popular choice but he did have talent early in his ASU career. There must be a position for him in the NFL.

Burfict crossed my mind too Mainstreet but Kolb with his concussions and Skelton with his sporadic accuracy early in games has me looking at Wilson and seriously, the only fault is his height in my opinion

Devuer Posey WR OSU.
They are saying he could be had in the 6th. If so, IMO he'd be a steal.

Was just going to put his name on the thread. Would be a nice pick. He is 6'4" 230 lbs with a strong arm.

Drew at the Huddle Report gives him a first round grade.

Well here are a few OLB and 3/4DE that could be had in the late 6th, 7th, or UDFA. I hope we can get 1 of them.

Deland Johnson OLB, 6-4,267 Bowie St.
Miles Burris OLB, 6-3, 238, S.D. St
Brent Roy DE/OLB, 6-4, 280,
Toney Jerod-Eddie DE, 6-4, 305, Tx A&M

I heard Colin Cowherd talking about a WR named A.Y.(?)Hilton of Florida International. He's 5'9.5" and 183 lbs.and runs a 4.45 forty. Cowherd saw him against Alabama (I believe) and said that no one could cover him. CC thought he'd make a great slot receiver. Only problem is that we have Roberts and Doucett for the slot and need a big speedy outside guy.

I think Posey will be off the board by the 4th but it would a great value pick so late if it happened

That seems more in line with where I'd value him, but I've seen quite a few people thinking he'd go later. Who knows.
Even in the 4th I think he'd be solid value, 5th I'd be excited, 6th would be a no-brainer.

TY Hilton will be a beast. Go watch his highlight reel on YouTube. Looks like a smaller yet faster version of Boldin. I'd be ecstatic if we get him in the third.

I know they like him and have watched him work out, but I still don't think they will take him. But I would take a late flyer even high as a 5th rounder, especially if we still had our 2nd rounder. The guy I am talking about is Paul Anger, Punter out of California.

With the new kickoff rules they way they are the punter is 10 times more important now for the field position battle, and we saw that first hand playing the Niners twice last year. I am usually way against picking a punter in the draft but their impact has risen so much so that I would be fine with it now.

Goes to show you.

Based on what I saw execution-wise during post-season, I have Lindley #1 on my "Do Not Draft at Any Cost" list.

btw, this post is about a player you would covet...a guy you would pull the trigger on early to avoid any chance of losing him to another team. Not talking about a guy who happens to fall and is considered a steal. Not a player one sees as a diamond in the rough, but someone you think is a showroom diamond on display and you have to have them regardless if other teams might not think as highly of him. Not a player like Luck but a situation where the guy happens not to be as hyped by others but as a team you feel you have to have them.
