They need to do more passing out of the jumbo via play action and more runs out of the spread formation i.e. draw plays. It amazes me that we don't see them doing these things.

Doesn't matter who starts - whoever best fits the package we start out with.

It could all boil down to which RB we can trust most in blitz protection or catching out of the backfield.

One of my big concerns is that we have a RB who can do all the packages. Apparently RW couldn't so we couldn't play him in no huddle.

Obviously if we have a guy in who can't pass block then it becomes a huge tip on when we're going to run or throw if we're changing backs out so you gotta get a guy who can do both.

Watching the Texans last night they mentioned a couple of times how the perceived weakness of that team is WR, they would like to get a veteran WR.

Wonder if the Cards would consider offering Doucet plus something for Ben Tate?

Unlikely. They seemed to indicate the Texans want an experienced guy not a young guy so Doucet probably makes more sense than Floyd.

But it sounds like we think we can fill it from within or the waiver wire I hope we're right.
