CHEBOYGAN – The Cheboygan-area 2024-25 high school basketball season just ended.
When it comes to girls who competed on the court, there were several standouts.
ALL-NLC GIRLS BASKETBALL: NMCA’s Ferraiuolos, Mackinaw City’s Ming make all-NLC girls basketball first team
ST. IGNACE GOES DOWN: St. Ignace topped by Ewen-Trout Creek in Division 4 girls basketball quarterfinal
With the hoops campaign now in the books, be sure to cast your vote on who you think was the best player in the Cheboygan area this past season.
The poll opens on Monday morning and closes at 11 p.m. on Wednesday. The winner of the poll will be announced on Thursday.
Here’s a look at the nominees:
Cloee Rupp, Cheboygan – Earned a spot on the all-Northern Shores Conference first team.
Olivia Patrick, Cheboygan – Secured a nod on the all-Northern Shores second team.
Brooklyn LaBrecque, Inland Lakes – A senior leader for the Bulldogs who made the all-Ski Valley Conference first team.
Chloe Robinson, Inland Lakes – Delivered a terrific junior season and earned Ski Valley first team honors.
Kerry-Ann Ming, Mackinaw City – Broke Mackinaw City’s single-season rebounding record and earned all-Northern Lakes Conference first team accolades.
Charlotte Box, Onaway – This 1,000-point scorer made the all-Ski Valley first team.
Lauren Ferraiuolo, Burt Lake NMCA – A top young player who made the Northern Lakes first team.
