I put Colt only because he knows the offense (I hope) and is the vet but I don't think he'll stay the starter for long

Unless McCoy plays tonight and plays well, it will probably be Dobbs in Washington. I don't think they want Tune starting any meaningful games, if they can help it.

Because of his familiarity with Petzig's system, Dobbs was one of the few QB's that they could bring in 2 weeks before the season opener and have him be the starter for the game. I assume that McCoy's arm troubles have persisted through training camp and they've decided that he can't be the starter.

It kind of sounds like McCoy is cooked (which sucks), so I guess I'll go with the only other QB on the roster who has played in NFL regular season games, the one-and-only Josh "Astro" Dobbs.

I think Tune put up another good case today - especially after getting absolutely creamed

I expected Tune to complete the entire first half - not sure if he earned the starting gig or they just wanted to keep him healthy

If the elbow is still bad, I think they may IR McCoy, to allow him to stay around the team and with Murray. Kyler trusts and respects him with help...and a move like this might signal Colt to consider a coaching transition.

I don't see the Kyler McCoy thing being important, especially with the new coaching staff and with Kyler breaking old habits/wanting a fresh start
