One of the OTs. I went with Batiste since he is protecting Skeltons blind side.

I understand people saying Batiste, but I just don't think I'll be able to get mad at a guy who literally doesn't belong on the field. Ill be more pissed at the guy who put him there... Russ Grimm... and by extension, that means Wiz.

Wiz has hired and fired a lot of people over 5 years. The notion that Grimm shouldn't have been one of them pisses me off more than anything Wiz has done.

Yup. Thats my only beef with Whiz over his tenure. Russ Grimm needs to go.

Plus I still dont understand Batiste. The QB will get the bulk of fault regardless. Didnt matter how bad the OL has been over the years we still murder the QB as a fan base.

It's how we do. :) And I Agree bigtime on the Grimm sitiuation, piss poor protection in a system that spreads it's self out thin to get the money shot. Whiz's playstyle mixed with Grimm's (whatever he does) is no bueno. Bottom of the League in sacks no matter who is back there.

your only beef? I like Wiz but his evaluation of the QB position has been downright abysmal. I've got a pretty big beef with that too.

eh... Levi Brown probably got just as much as the QBs have... most of it for good reason.

But with Batiste, to get mad at him, that means you need to have some kind of expectation for him, which he really hasn't done anything to make any of us have, which is why he gets a pass for me. he's camp fodder beng pressed into action. it won't be his fault that he shouldn't be on the field.

you coming in for the game Shane?

Shane is also still mad about Tim Hightower-gate.

Yea I'm not as hard on him at the QB position. Basically because IMO the options at the position have been utter crap.

At our draft position no surefire options available. FA abysmal.. They tried at what not just AZ. Experts but many nfl people were saying was the best option. It failed. In years past this team would have just rolled out what they had and made zero effort.

Unfortunately I'm not. Just had to dish out almost 1100 bucks on my car. Too broke.

This just in...

I read that Gay changed his jersey number to #22.

Wasn't that Tommy Knight's number?

Just sayin'.

Grimm wasn't an option. I'd go with Graves over Grimm for failing to provide any talent at the position over the last 3 years.

Grimm had plenty of talent to work with 2007-2009 and didn't do anything with them. They had 4 of the 5 starters vs Green Bay in the 2009 playoff game still on the team last season and only one of them was playing the same position.

There's a certain symmetry to Grim(m) and Grave(s) being the key elements in developing our offensive line.

I've loooooooooooong given up banging on Graves. Like Batiste, it's not his fault he's in the position he's in.
