because we expect professional athletes getting paid millions of dollars to bring their 'A' game every night. Especially if they start whineing about how they need 14 million dollars so that they can feed thier kids.

because most of us want this team to win every single game. Actually I think most of us were blaming too much small ball for the win the other night. I saw Steve Nash on the news last night talking about how the referees thought the game was over so they were giving every call to the Cavaliers. There's a player blaming somebody. When a team blows an 18 point lead with 6 1/2 minutes left in the game I think it's fair to expect the fans to point fingers.

Blaming and criticizing are two different things. Blaming: "The Suns lost because JJ doesn't know when to step up and score when it counts. What a loser!" Criticism: "JJ is a very good player, but he's too timid when the game's on the line. The Suns are going to need him to grow some 4th quarter nads if they expect to do some damage this year."

Blaming is counterproductive. It is delivered in absolutes and is backwards thinking. Criticism is insightful and can be very productive. It is delivered with a developed argument and is forward thinking.

I think we should criticize more even when the Suns win!

Please tell me we didn't trade for SPREWELL!!!!!!!!! :hulk:

It's funnny though after one loss and all the praising for doing things right, people start bagging them. Questioning players potential (jj) etc. It was ONE game at the end of a road trip in which we play excellent basketball. And the Cavs were EXTREMELY lucky to come out of that with a win.

No need to get on the players that much after such a great start.

I agree Billy, but I would have been happier if the team just lost the game by 10 points, and they were loosing the whole game. Even if it was close and they lost I could live with.

They lost to a worse team. They did it by blowing a 19 point 4th quarter lead. You can't explain that. Chalk it up as hopefully the worst thing that happens this season I guess.

I just put all the blame on refs and cheer the team

Trade Proposal's are just for fun... I haven't read the Suns/Kings thread yet but I think Suns are playing skillball just a bit too much - Maciej Lampe is a skillball player that happens to be 6'11 and he continues to get DNP's. I don't hate it but not all game - I didn't like it at first to start game off like that but Suns have been winning, still not all game
