Why is Shawn Marion not in the Ring of Honor?

sorry. I just don't buy this. he could never add a post-game, either? he literally never got better from his third year in the league, at 23 to the day his career ended. that's laziness for a guy with that kind of natural athleticism, IMO.

I wouldn't call it laziness. As I've posted, I used to try to talk with him at Yoshi's
(where he came at noon when the Suns were home), while he waited for his
takeout lunch. I hit the place twice a week to eat-in.

He displayed the maturity level of an adolescent. His demeanor made it
obvious that he just didn't have what it takes to advance in the most
competitive basketball league in the world. I felt sorry for him as an
individual and for the Suns.

i can't fault his effort during games, but I sure as hell fault his effort in the off-season when he never did anything to improve his game from the time he was 23 years old onward.
