was Wilks the LB coach in Carolina at some point?

Our ILB core is less than stellar, I was hoping we could bolster the coaching there.

No DeFilippo. Based on Wilk's press conference the coordinators will be here by SuperBowl. That eliminates DeFilippo. Its Bevell or McCoy.

Lol @ McCoy or Bevell being our choices for OCs.

If it’s not John Morton, get ready for mediocrity, fellas.

3 former head coaches: McAdoo, McCoy and Caldwell

Of those three I would go:

1. Caldwell
2. McAdoo
3. McCoy

My favorites:

1. DeFilippo
2. Bevell
3. Cooter

DeFilippo

Would be a coup to hire him as OC. He was my favorite for Cardinals’ HC. We HAVE to put the QBOF in the best possible hands. I want to chug whatever the coaches and QBs are drinking in Philadelphia. They just got a banner NFC Championship game performance from Nick Foles. Imagine what he can do with a young QB.
Ditto (Flip, Bev, Coot). I want an OC who - in addition to being a matchup guru - knows no fear when it comes to dialing up any play in any situation.

No to Caldwell. He hasn't even managed to produce an average ground game or get his RB going. Lions run game has been a joke, and the Ravens groud game in Superbowl season wasn't good either. I'd rather have McCoy who has shown at least some adaptability or Bevell, whom I consider the best offensive mind among them. Had a rough couple years in Seattle with no OL but in general his schemes are well designed. In the end, none of them excites me very much. DeFilippo would be a great hire. Young, flexible, outside the box thinker. That's what we need for a young QB. Hopefully they come up with another name. Morton, recently fired OC of the Jets, got a lot out of his unit with Josh McCown at QB, Roby Anderson as top WR and a bad OL. Great RB production too between Forte, Powell and McGuire. Would be a great hire to use David Johnson's skill the right way!

Am I just grasping for straws here? He didn’t actually say that his coordinators would be signed or even be in Arizona by the Super Bowl. He said that he would like to know who his coordinators would be by the time of the Super Bowl. Maybe he could strike a deal with DeFilippo before the Super Bowl.

I kind of think that they are extremely careful with what they say at a press conference, and that small details like that might mean something. Or maybe I am just really hoping that’s the case.

not sure why Foote is retained...our LB's SUCK! They're out of position and run around like chickens with their heads cut off.

Shoot they couldn't even talk Keim and Co into drafting Ruben Freakn Foster. Arguably the a top 4 player in that draft. Everyone here saw what Foster did on the field...and no one saw what Redman did.

I would have fired anyone and everyone having anything to do with the LB's
The arrested Foster? Cards aren't going down the DWash road again. Foster is looking at a suspension already...and does have valid injury concerns.

Didn't he just get fired by the Jets?

Yea.

He also got career years out of Josh McCown, Robby Anderson, Jermaine Kearse, & ASJ. ALL overperformed over their expectations.

For the reason he was fired? I don’t know. The Jets are known for being inept so yea.

C'mon I've been wanting McCoy for weeks. He's a great mind and a great system. Complicated but great.

Wolf was implying that word on the street is Morton was not running meetings very well. They’re may have been some slacking going on.

I will say that I only heard him allude to this during one segment last week. No details were talked about but it was clear there were issues.

What has McCoy done well, without Manning? Serious question... I've asked before.

And I could counter with what has Bevell done without Wilson and Favre. Cause it's only about the QB right?
