You can already see the fork in his back, but if he gets put on the IL when Amare and Zarko return, he may as well start looking for cemetary plots.

Googs is a good guy (despite his New Yawk accent).

But, as an NBA player, sadly, there's nothing left.

Googs at his best was the "anti-Harvey". Harvey is tough, agressive, doesn't mind contact, likes to play close to the basket, will get on the floor for scramble rebounds, plays tough defense, and shows lots of energy.

In the past, Googs made up for it by being a good outside shot, would get into position for rebounds quite well, and was a great passer. Lately his shooting has been poor and he is slow getting into position for rebounds. Being a good passer is not enough.

I admit I'm one of the 2 that says he will be on an NBA roster next season. As long as he's healthy I think someone will find a spot for a 6 '10" 245 lbs. veteran good guy.

Googs is a good guy, but I think the only roster he will see is on a broadcast team. He's made enough coin to punch out and enjoy life.

He'll definitely be on a roster next year.

I predict he gets signed but gets cut in camp, gets signed to another team and goes on the injured list and retires in the first half of the season thats my guess.

This is plausible.

Sometime guys get buried because they don't fit a coaches style, there are too many other guys that do the same sort of thing, or a team wants to develop younger players rather than playing someone whose contract will be running out anyway. Look at Harvey.

None the less, I don't see Googs sticking with anyone unless he figures out how to play with more energy.

He'll be on a roster next year.

He's still a pretty good player. He can still hit the face up jumper, can still dunk the ball going towards the basket, and is a good passer. He hasn't gotten any consistent minutes this year or last, and that's not going to work for a player in his physical condition, at his age, with his knee. He hasn't looked great in the minutes he's gotten this year, but he's shown some flashes of something good.

There's no reason he shouldn't play for a few more years.

why would anyone want to pick up a guy who isnt even playing on a sub par team like the suns. This guy has done nothing since he was signed here from minni. I cant wait to have him off the roster, he is so bad i would rather have luc longley the blunder from down under on this roster right now then him.

Why would they do that when Trybanski is a lot more productive (he played about two minutes a few weeks ago).:D

Because he's a really good guy, he tries hard, and he still has some game left in him. Maybe he can't compete as well in a game, but in practice situations he's probably pretty decent.

Anyways, he's just as good as Scott Williams.

Huh:confused: "Practice situations"?

Good guy, tries hard, decent in practice- has nothing to do with being able to play in the NBA.
