It's just a random post by someone on the Lakers reddit page. It is almost certainly just fake news.
Most likely, but there was a similar post on reddit about Kingsbury to the Cards that turned out to be accurate. Just wanted to take a deeper look at this one. Guess we'll see in the coming days

Holiday is probably the best choice in a move we make now. He is signed up on a high, but not really high contract for a few years. I am not sold on getting Lonzo. Hope we don't get him.

If the Suns went this direction, Holiday would be 31 when his contract expires if he picks up his option.

He might re-sign for the Suns for a much more reasonable amount after this so it is something to think about.

The Suns could have a point guard long term if this transpired.

I've seen this same picture on FB but can't find a link to this post. Anyone have the link?

At least we only have to wait a couple of hours to find out if there is any truth to it. LOL

It's too perfect for the NBA. Media is already pushing for it to happen.

So? What does the media have to do with the lottery process? Or are you one of those that believes a major accounting firm would break the law, ruin it's reputation and hope to be the first organization since the Caveman's Winter Formal Committee to actually keep a vital secret?

That's interesting how it says the Suns would lose 10 more games after making that deal

That makes no sense at all. How many more wins does Hollinger project the Suns for if they make no trade at all? It can't be many more than ten. So acquiring Holiday would mean losing out the rest of the way?

So it’s impossible to have a positive trade projection?

I messed with it and found a way to get a positive win projection for the Suns. Draymond Green & Klay Thompson for Warren, Anderson, and Troy Daniels would add 1 win to the Suns and only cost the Warriors 1 win. I think James Jones needs to make a phone call. The Bucks pick would be fair compensation for that 1 extra loss the Warriors will get. I think the 1 win may cost us Zion but I can live with that. ;)

I don't even care about the circus. He is averaging 5 assist and shooting less than 50% from the free throw line. He is a good defender but so is Melton.

Which makes it entirely not worth the risk of the circus, or more likely a repeat of Ariza/Bledsoe/Morris before a return to LA.

The hardest of hard passes. ABB (anyone but Ball).

Last season his per 36 assist number was 7.6, not bad for a rookie and I'm not interested in writing him off because of the Lebron effect. And he's still just 21 years old. He will make us better. If Lavar stays out of it and IF he can be effective in the half court, he will make us quite a bit better. I'm not sure he can be effective in the half court though, especially in Koko's offense. But assuming the acquisition cost isn't too high (no more than TJ and the Milwaukee pick), I find it preferable to the other deals we've talked about here. Mostly because if he fails, it won't set us back much.

I think even that is too much to give. JJ maybe.

Lonzo averaged 13/6/7 with 2.3 turnovers and shot 42% from the field in the games Lebron missed this year. Granted his TS% tanked because of FT’s but he played pretty well. Having a distributing PG with Lebron is kinda useless which is why I thought Lonzo had one year tops when Lebron was signed. It all depends on the price.

I could see sending JJ to the Lakers hurting us multiple times a year. He's probably the last player I'd want to trade to LA with Booker being the only other Suns player that would be close. I could see JJ holding a grudge and using that to light us up. He has it in him and under Lebron's tutelage I think it's very possible.
