Anderson, Warren, Bender, Okobo, and our top 7 protected first for Jrue Holiday and Solomon Hill. Make it happen.

I'd be dancing in the streets if this happened. Too bad there is no way that New Orleans would do it (due to return) or that the Suns would do it (due to the contracts of Holiday and Hill).

What the point of a Anderson/Hill swap when they’re both guaranteed the same salary next year? Also, that pick would need to be top-1 protected for them to listen.

Anderson is 20 mil in trade dollars, Hill is 12. Its necessary to make the numbers work for the trade. Hill is a fairly bad contract for them.

The most the Suns could protect their own pick and still retain good value is top 3 protected. If they say Top 7 then they might as well offer a 2020 1st round pick because it's probably not conveying this year unless they get screwed by the pingpong balls.

Regardless they’re not taking back Anderson. IMO the trade would look something like Warren and fillers plus our pick top-1 protected.

That's interesting how it says the Suns would lose 10 more games after making that deal while the Pelicans would only lose 1 extra game. Warren is a key contributor for the Suns this year but Bender, Daniels, and Okobo have very little effect on the standings. Adding a PG like Holiday wouldn't cost us anymore games than we'd lose already with the possible exception of 1 game where we're missing those 4 and haven't received Holiday yet. Chances are we'd lose that game anyway.

Not as bad here. Only a -7 win projection. ;)

Man I hope you guys are right about being able to get Holiday on the cheap. I think that the suns desperation for a PG will be a big factor. What ever holiday is worth, he is worth more to the suns.

I also believe that TJ and JJ are worth less to us since we have an abundance of wings.

I also think our pick is worth more to other teams than us since we are to young already and need to begin winning ASAP. Of course by pick I mean anything other than the #1.

I'm not sure I'd trade the rights to Zion for anyone in the league. The entertainment value would be priceless.

I'm assuming that it is using a projected win total from before the season started and the Suns are so far behind that number at this point that those trades wouldn't be enough to overcome how far behind that projected number that they are.

So it’s impossible to have a positive trade projection?

If the preseason projection was 32 wins than we would have to go 22-7 for the rest of the season to get there. Therefor the Giannis for Anderson example that has us at -7 wins after the trade would mean that we actually went 14-15 with Giannis to end the season. While that may seem like a poor win loss with the addition of someone like Giannis it is a massive improvement over what we were before the trade. A trade that was in the positive could theoretically be possible, but at this point in this season it would have to be insanely lopsided in the Suns favor.

I've been supportive of a trade for a player like Payton for a future second round pick for a long time.

I'd even kick the tires on Payton again unless he has burnt his bridges behind him.

Holiday is probably the best choice in a move we make now. He is signed up on a high, but not really high contract for a few years. I am not sold on getting Lonzo. Hope we don't get him.
