Helping out the Lakers in any way shape or form is asinine. Forget about how crappy it would be to bring Ball and Papa Ball to town.

I don't see how we'd be helping the Lakers? I doubt there's anything we would give them that would make a real difference in their pursuit of Davis so I'd do what we think is best for us. And if LA benefits, well that's just the way it goes.

Frankly, if we give up Warren or Jackson or anyone or anything of consequence to get Lonzo Ball, whether in a direct trade or to facilitate the Lakers trade for Anthony Davis, I am back on the James Jones working for the benefit of LeBron at the Suns' expense bandwagon...

At this stage the Suns problems are much bigger than the Lakers.

At this point, I’ll take Lonzo Ball and be thrilled with it. Take Booker off the ball and let him roam. Get more looks for Ayton underneath.

Any passing point guard looks pretty good about now.

Add Ball to this mess, and they will still be talking about the implosion here 25 years later...

This is what happens when a team gets used to losing.

Hey, in addition to playing the Point and Shooting Guard, maybe the Suns should name DBook player-coach.

And General Manager while they're at it. And ticket scanner at the door. And he can do the post-game shows.

While the investors count their trillions. o_O

BTW, that is not a criticism of Devin.

The Suns have put themselves in a bad place by waiting so long to find a point guard. Two seasons is way too long.

It's almost like they need to do something temporary unless they can find a permanent fix at point guard.

Unfortunately other teams smell blood in the water.

Also the Suns need to see find out if Igor is the solution or the problem.

True but helping out a team with moves that could haunt your franchise for years to come is pure stupidity.

I understand where you are coming from but the Suns need to fix their problems first.

Now we’ve got this gem from AZ sports. Page can no longer be found. Were they getting a story ready and published it by mistake? Wtf?

Probably a test page to have ready if/when it happens. Just FYI sports writers often start writing 2 stories (1 for a win, 1 for a loss) so that they can meet deadline

Well if by fixing those problems you outmaneuver yourself and render those moves neutral how does that help?

Besides, I bet this front office has a better chance of outmaneuvering themselves than any other team.

There is risk with Ball but if he doesn't cost much, one of our expendable wings and works out we would still have a high pick and cap space. A PG rotation of Ball and Morant would be an improvement.

We may not want to give up TJ or JJ but we can't keep all of our wing players. Personally I think O'ubre, Bridges and JJ would be fine moving forward. I have a gut feeling TJ is on his way out no matter what.

Actually the Suns have been very restrained thus far.

I think the Lakers have as much a chance to out maneuver themselves as anyone. They took on an aging Nash and now they are building around an aging Lebron.

I'm thinking along those lines as well although I think Warren would be an excellent sixth man.

Yeah I think so - Skeleton probably means skeleton of a story.

If the price is right, that would be a nice way to go. Although I'd worry about the impact it might have on our long shot Zion quest.

Don't be. We are almost guaranteed to be at least 4th worst. Which means no worse than 12.5% chance for the first pick vs 14% each for the worst 3.
