Rather than 30 "X was released" threads, put em here.

Terrance Knighton - NT - 100% should be on our radar. Hes one of the best NTs in the NFL period. Regardless how well Xavier or Peters have done at NT, Terrance is an upgrade.

Paul Kruger - OLB- Clear depth upgrade. Okafor cant stay healthy.

Arthur Lynch - TE - Im biased, big fan. Special teamer. 110% guy. and from the looks of our special teams, we need more effort.

Bryan Stork - C - Apparently he failed his Redskins physical, reverts back to Pats, and will soon be cut. Why he failed his physical? Not sure. Maybe its something little thatll be healthy by start. Not a great player but probably an upgrade on Shipley.

Trade option: Pierre Desir - CB - Browns. 4th CB on depth chart. PFF guys say he tracks very well and cant understand why hes 4th. His grades make him 2nd best CB on Cards. Word is they are very thin at DL. Kareem Martin would be a fair trade.

This Will be Pot Roast's 4th team in 3 years. A quality starter doesn't have that track record. Come on!

Kruger would be a Nice addition as back-up. Won't happen. He has a ring and is looking for starter money.

Stock. Agree. Something is fishy. Doubt it Will happen. Why not wait for Boehm.

Desir. Nice find.

Like 4 concussions the last 4 seasons I think.

If you're concerned about OLB depth, you can't consider trading Martin for anyone, even a CB.

There's a reason Stock was traded/failed a physical and Knighton were released.

Haven't heard but he has had several concussions in the past two years so might have something to do with it.

Of course you can. Our OLB depth is wondering who #3 and #4 is. Our CB depth is wondering who #2 is.

#2 > #3/#4

we desperately need a CB. And Pierre can be a starter. We can easily give away a backup OLB for a starter CB

No one released right now is good.

That's not true. Often they'll release quality veterans at 1st round cuts so they have more time to find a new team.

Whether age, money or maybe they have a young draftee to take the spot, plenty of good veterans out there.

Check.
Schwarz, Cullen Jenkins, Pot Roast and Kruger are examples of this.

Stork, IF his medical is fine...he may have simply not wanted to play for them and said so....no idea.

I'd bring him in for a looksie.

How about Brock O yest? Denver would have been a beast with him at QB. I love that Elway has to swallow this situation all because he didn't want to spend 2.5 mill more on his qb.

How about Brock O

Hes not a franchise QB. Time will show it. Hes the new Matt Flynn. Packers backup who had 4 good games and that got him big big money from Seattle. Didn't even start a game because they happened to draft Russ Wilson that year.

Went to Raiders. Flopped.

Back to Packers. 4 games got him $40M and a tour of the western united states coast.

The CB Zomart is still on the team? Not picking on the guy, I just like saying that name

He was lit up yesterday though. Surprised to see him still on the team after that game.

Those are names, but when was the last time that a player released in the Cut to 75 actually was a quality player? As "loaded" as we are, we didn't cut anyone good. Last year, it seemed like a big deal when we cut Matt Shaughnessy. Turned out guy was a scrub.

Kruger might be worth a look as a depth OLB if the Cards have a concern at the 4th OLB spot.

Knighton is garbage and a limited player. Red Bryant is every bit the player and he is already on the roster.

Stork is a huge injury concern at a position which demands dependability.

Pierre Desir...meh. He has never looked impressive to me despite PFF's metrics. If you can't win a spot on a terrible team, that usually means something.
