ERIC STRIKER

I see him as a permanent backup for Bucannon. Perfect $backer type player and also special teams ace.

Seahawks waive C Patrick Lewis.

I doubt Keim Will Pick up a center. Before a New center is familiar With the system Boehm Will be ready anyway.

One interesting cut...

Former Pro-Bowl P Justin Colquitt was cut by the Broncos. He was going into his final year of his contract and scheduled to make over $3M. He likely Will pass waivers With that salary.

I thought Colquitt wasn't exposed to waivers as a vet??

Actually a guy who the Cardinals should take a look at is K’Waun Williams just cut by the Browns. Apparently the new staff and him were at odds and they decided to cut him. Right now he is certainly better than either Bethel or B. Williams.
Bears claimed him

This guys gotta be better the Butler too....
Tim Masthay - P - Free Agent
Packers released P Tim Masthay.

Masthay has been the Pack's punter since 2010, but they'll move forward with Jake Schum, who was claimed off waivers on Tuesday. Masthay was due $1.2 million after coming in 14th in net-punting average last season. He'll get calls whenever someone needs a punter.

I thought so too but from the very small sample size in the preseason, Duke looks like he is getting pummeled and is afraid of contact. He could be in the mold of a Darren Sproles type player, without the tree trunk type legs. His body is just not built for excessive amounts of contact unfortunately...

The problem is that our special teams blocking is downright atrocious. I haven't seen a Super Bowl caliber team struggle on special teams like this before. Doesn't matter which side of the ball either. We need to get some of our starters/better backups in there and shore this up. It is madness.

Or hope the NFL does away with the kickoff, man would that solve a lot of our issues.

Jeremiah Poutasi - G/T was the 66th pick last year, already got released. Dudes 6'6 335. Enormous.

Id like to grab him for PS. Had huge talent out of college. Maybe just needs a year or 2 to develop. Could be a mauling Leonard Davis type Guard in the future.
