Who said anything about Mayock. Watch the guy play. Also it isnt just Mayock saying it, according to MJ himself in an interview it was the question that was asked of him the most in interviews at the combine.

He didnt have 17.5 TFL and 9 sacks his senior year. I have already shown that his teams own website only has him down as 15 and 7. Draftcountdown has the same stats. A teams website is actually usually known for padding stats not taking them away.

Wow the guy got 17 sacks his whole career as a pass rush specialist. A career he got plenty of opporunity to rush the passer. Thats awesome production, when he cant even do the one thing he is supposed to be a specialist at. Heck if he didnt need to have 36 TFLs and 26 sacks one season, the guy would have accepted that in 3 seasons, becuase it would have been an improvement.

Also he was not the focal point of that DL. He was playing next to a 1st team DT - Vance Walker, a 2nd teamer, and a 20 year old 1st year starter in Derrick Morgan who is on the path to being a phenom. He played on an awesome DL at Georgia Tech, one of the best in the ACC.

Past the statistical analysis watch the tape and the guy sucks 95% of the time.
actually, it was 19 career sacks. He was 3rd in the ACC in sacks last year. Also, maybe those other guys were first and second team DT because of his presence on the DL. I guess were just going to disagree on him. I like him ,you don't. No biggie.

Jersey Girl! beanie wells with bells on--count me in girl! i wouldn't take another head case player[branch, anyone? wendell Bryant] like johnson, with a poor motor, poor attitude, taking plays off, when there are players like conor barwin absolutely chomping at the bit for a chance to be drafted and show what they can do. as mr mike singletary says, "can't play with them, can't coach em!"

What does Pope and Patrick being back have to do with Pettigrew? Is it that he have faith in Pope or Patrick or are you basing it on a numbers game? To be honest I am not sure how Patrick or Pope has put faith in anyone, they sure havent for me.

Who cares about athletic ability if you dont have the heart, brain, or skill to actually use it. Who cares about athletic ability if you dont use it to actually produce, which MJ didnt.

Who would you take Joe? English or Pettigrew?

RB McCoy or RB Brown. I prefer McCoy but would be happy with either. I've seen enough of MCoy's games to be convinced the "no vision" tag is a bunch of hooey.

I have not seen enough of Brown to form an opinion and have to rely on the reports of others that he is worthy of our pick at #31. I hate doing that, preferring to eyeball the player myself to fform an opinion.

Brown also had the benefit of one of the best Offensive Lines in the country. They were also all Seniors and Juniors I believe.

Adrian Peterson, RB OU Sorry, wrong draft.

had to do it.
It wouldn't be a draft discussion without him.

I voted for Larry English. The simple fact that Edge isn't released yet makes me wonder if we shoot for Donald Brown or LeSean McCoy, and they are really high on Steven Spach so I have doubts that they will pull the trigger on Pettigrew. Michael Johnson would make sense when you factor in that we have a tendency to draft underachieving linemen, but I think and pray that he isn't on the board.
