Anybody that doesn't feel like we can and should win this game at this point should have their head examined. I'm not saying it'll be easy, a gimme, or even a guaranteed W, but I don't see us losing unless we get too full of ourselves.

The Niners game is a completely different matchup. Heavy running game. Better edge rush. Strong in the trenches on both sides.

I don't rate their DB's though so with Kyler's ability to avoid the rush and make passes you have to like that match up.

Watching the game pass of the Seahawks and 49ers. Lance is hilariously inaccurate and his release is VERY slow. He should have been picked off twice. He jdoesn't slide correctly, instead he dives head first and it is going to get him hurt.

CJ should feast but I thought that against Jacksonville. On offense, the 49ers are still a middling running team but I expect Lance to help fix that.

Rams were yesterday

Time to get focused on the Niners

Backup QB's always give us trouble

Can VJ dial up the right defense?

Will the Cards be reading the articles and come in flat?

Difficult to come off such a complete win and stay focused
I was hoping the Rams would come out a little flat after the big win against the Buccaneers last week. Maybe they did just that as they were not sharp most of the game

Me and @DVontel had many debates of Deebo vs. Murphy. I guess I can admit I was wrong since I didnt even think about Deebo until this thread. And thats with Deebo having a great season as well. Murphy was the right decision.

Said on Saturday I watched a show on NFL Network and all but one of them picked us. The analysis was actually half dead on they said I think people are overrating the Rams pass offense because the Bucs secondary is decimated and terrible. The Rams won't throw on the Cards nearly as well as they did on the Bucs. They also suggested our run defense was going to be effective, it really wasn't but in the redzone we locked down well.

I want the cards to have another solid game to follow up the Rams game. To many times we get a big win or get on a mini streak and we crap the bed when we shouldn’t. I want to see the mental toughness and leadership come to the forefront that will not allow this team to have a letdown, including the coaches

If we don’t bring our “A” game we could easily lose this game. If we bring our “A” game we can beat anybody.

Im not worried about Lance specifically...more in the run game in general. When the 49ers are able to run the ball and stick to their game plan they are a tough team to beat.

If we are able to shut down the run like we did against the Titans...but not again since....then I think we can win the game easily.

If we don't contain the run, I think this game is close, and I worry about us coming out flat and losing a very winnable game.

Bottom line is that we are hot, San Fran is missing a lot of key guys, and we need to win this divisional game one way or another. Good/Great teams who are legit playoff threats don't waste an opportunity to pick up a divisional win against a wounded opponent. I dont care if it's 49-42 or 3-0...we need this win. The Browns the following week means we could easily be on a 2 game losing streak, losing all of this momentum we have gained, if we don't come out and take control.

When you know Zach Allen is so bad all you can do is drop him into coverage and hope

SF needs to get another Trey you can't have 2 treys, Sermon and Lance.

Sermon is proof with a good scheme it's not all that hard to find a decent RB. First start 89 yards 4.7 YPC. He just had to pick up the scheme. That said the primary issue he had early was reportedly pass blocking so if he starts the Cards need to exploit that

Also Shanahan said that Sermon is starting to figure out what tempo to go in the scheme. He said lots of RB's come in and they either go full speed and run into the OL(LeShon Johnson) or they go too slow trying to pick the hole and they get 3 yards when 8 is there. Sermon was the latter but he's figured out he has to be "more aggressive" to the hole now.

Jimmy Garoppolo "has a chance" to play for #49ers Sunday at Arizona. Shanahan: "It wasn’t as bad as we thought it might have been. Today he’s in a lot of pain and still sore. Wednesday if it’s getter better, he has a good chance."

this game will really tell us how focused and ready for primetime this team is. This is a TOTAL trap game, especially if we're facing a rookie in his first start. Flying high off the route of the Rams, breaking that streak, all the media jumping on our bandwagon... a legit playoff contender comes out and wins this game, whatever it takes, close or blowout. A pretender starts thinking their ish don't stink and craps the bed against an opponent they SHOULD beat.

can't wait for Sunday.

man... football season is so much better when the Cardinals as good.
