Am I the only one that thinks the whole JJ Watt situation is a bit odd? Why wouldn't they put him on IR if he is out for at least 2 months? I mean he even shows up at the injury report.
Maybe they are working with the Flex Seal guy, to see if they can keep his arm attached during games.

Yeah, I think he is trying to figure out a way to still play without surgery.

Torn Rotator, labrum and Bicep??? Does anyone believe that it’s even remotely possible?

That surgeon and expert said even if it was just a labrum he was done and likely to not even make it back for a SB appearance?

Ugh the longer he holds off on surgery the longer it takes for him to come back. Just get it over with

He’s done till next year regardless... at this point does it really matter?

I guess because he's still on IR, they don't need to list Hudson's status... but has anyone reported whether he's been "Limited" or "Full" in practice and how he's looked?

Yes because it could cause permanent damage. He wouldn’t be close to 100% anyway.
I’m asking does putting him an IR right away really matter… We know he’s not playing there’s no way

Is there a good reason to delay the surgery? I can't think of any myself.

That's media talk. That hasn't been confirmed by anyone on the team.

Sure it matters. It's a roster spot. It's nearly 2 weeks now since his injury.

I'm almost certain he trying to find a way to play with the labrum tear. There's no other conceivable reason to keep him on the active roster so long.

Rodney Hudson, J. Murray, Corey Peters were spotted at practice Thursday from what I saw from Urban. Said Z. Collins limited practice. No Dhop or K1 which is no surprise. It appears they're toughing it out with the 49ers getting Kittle back. 49ers are also grinding it out with Shannahan saying D. Samuel is playing despite an injury. It almost makes me think Kyler Murray is playing. It's the way the division is behaving that makes me think that. Rams 7-1 aren't going away, Russell Wilson posting a pic of the pin taken out of his finger and the refusal of the 49ers to give up. Unless the team feels great about Colt McCoy starting, I expect to see K1 playing.

Of course they feel great about McCoy starting. Then when we get blown out by 20 pts. Kingsbury will take the blame and say he should have called better plays.
The vibe I’m getting is 27-17 49ers.

Yea I’m still no convinced it matters. With our other DL guys coming back from injury we’re not in dire need of DL help. That roster spot isn’t going to be taken by anyone of real consequence.
